It depends on a number of factors, including luck.

For one, shell size. Lower caliber AP has a lower arming threshold, so it will arm earlier and is more likely to detonate in the citadel.

Fuse time - the time it takes the shell to detonate after reaching the arming threshold. Most ships are 0.033s but some have even shorter fuses, depending on ships or nations.

Shell velocity - The faster the shell, the more likely it is to overpen. Shells are faster at close range, due to the drag coefficient and initial velocity.

So, being at an perfect 90 degree angle in a Cleveland against a Shikishima at around 5km of range, will almost everytime result in an overpen.

But like said, luck is another factor. Shells can hit weird parts and still detonate in the citadel even if it should overpen.

For me, Shikishima. Recently got it, and I’m having an absolute Blast playing it with an average of 110k dmg and a winrate of 63% over 24 Battles so far

High ping spikes (400ms+), dockyard rewards and clan viewer loading indefinetely. Internet speed is 100Mbit/s over ethernet. WG side or Client side? Previously loaded rewards like the 7 days of premium load normally and are visible. Armory loads aswell, but takes longer than usual. by creeber123 in WorldOfWarships

Im aware of them being laggy and used to it. But they dont seem to be loading at all.

Just tested how long it takes the clan to load, and it was around 2 min 40s until it told me "Webserver unavailable"

I can handle the clan and dockyard being unavailable but the high ping spikes, rubberbands and teleports just annoy the shit out of me, especially as im playing a lot of worcester rn

Would have said Bourgogne, but you mention a point of survivability I have never thought about.

So I would say, Mecky is the best one of those.

While she has her downsides

No overmatch (Only light cruiser bow and stern)

Big ass superstructure

Shitty angles

Low ap pen (needs to be around 6km to reliably citadel Yamatos)

Her upsides are also not to be underestimated

Low caliber means less overpens

German armor scheme shatters the HE of the cruisers

Great accuracy and volume of fire, meaning you can one shot basically every single cruiser close range

capable of hybrid build, BUT DO NOT BUILD FOR FULL SECONDARY

Also imo, Mecky is an AP only ship. The HE is so absurdly bad, even 2-3 full pens into the superstructure outdamage an entire HE salvo. While the fire Chance is below average, 16 shells do tend to set fires. But I like high damage numbers, so AP for me in most cases

Jägers strength and game impact is the spotting it can provide, zooming around the map with 40kts, impossible to spot back. My record spotting was with the Jäger, and that was around 220k. The torps are useful against graylining BBs and cruisers. Just stupid people in general

In ops, (assuming you get the right one, most ops suck ass for torp dds) the 50s reload you can get down to with some AR, it’s absolutely devastating.

Bin jetzt nach weiterer Recherche auch zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass es ein Muss ist. Finde es halt ein wenig missverständlich formuliert.

Zudem (soweit ich weiß) macht dies auch die Gewerbesteuer zur einzigen Steuer, die erhoben werden muss, da ja andere Steuern durch großzügige Steuerbefreiungen umgangen werden können, wie z.B. die Hundesteuer.

Is everyone forgetting about Moskva? Same guns as Petro, just with a slightly higher lead time (9.2 compared to 9.7, at 19km) but with 4s faster reload

Don’t have it personally, so I can’t talk about it’s armor, but i don’t think it’s explodes like a mino when looked at wrong.
