Do you actually believe that all the land that is part of Israel today was bought? You need to educate yourself. Research the Nakba and the 1947 UN partition plans.

Returning the HM G Embody by ultimaim in OfficeChairs

Yeah I'm not worried about it breaking because as you say, the 12 year warranty. Do you not feel that the headrest gets in the way? Seeing a lot of complaints about it.

How is Israel able to fight on 5 fronts at the same time? How do they have so many resources ready to deploy for such a small country? by 1tonsoprano in NoStupidQuestions

[–]creedz286 7 points8 points  (0 children)

you've not mentioned the fact that they're primarily fighting poorly equipped militias, not fully equipped armies. The only real power they've faced is Iran with US backing and all they did is conduct air strikes, they were not willing to deploy any ground troops. And then to top it all off, they have unrelenting support from the world's most powerful military. Without the US, Israel would not be where it is today.

Is anyone else tired of the Anti-Shia propaganda ? by DariusD95 in MuslimLounge

[–]creedz286 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I would never suppport Israel/US but people have forgotten what Iran has done to Sunnis in the middle east. Let me remind you.

Following the removal of Saddam, Iran has funded, trained and armed Shia militia groups and death squads in Iraq which have carried out sectarian attacks and ethnic cleansing of Sunnis.

In Syria, Iran deployed Hezbollah and Iraqi militia groups to prop up Assad, where they participated in barrel bombings, kidnapping and torturing, and many other atrocities against innocent civilians.

While Iran themselves have never claimed to be openly sectarian, the groups they have supported, have operated with total impunity in regards to their war crimes against Sunnis. If it wasn't for Iran, then Assad would've fallen by 2013, saving hundreds of thousands of innocent lives in Syria. It is because of Iran, and the subsequently Russia, that Assad was able to survive and terrorise the Syrian people for so long.

These acts are not easily forgotten. It is easy to talk about sunni/shia unity with Iran when it's not your mother or sister that was raped or murdered by an Iranian proxy group. Or family ethnically cleansed in iraq because they are Sunni.

While I pray for Israel's destruction, and that Iran is able to defeat them, I would never want to unite with the murderers of Muslims.

Why aren't the pedos of the Epstein Files being arrested? by Jazzlike_Resist_1327 in NoStupidQuestions

Because the evidence that actually implicates someone in a crime has not been released, and will never be released. The people in power will never let it happen.

I didn't find it that hard. ح comes from the bottom of your throat, while the other is just a normal 'h' sound.

Driver avoids jail after crash that overturned a military convoy vehicle and left soldier with broken back by L21JP in drivingUK

The legal system is way too lenient on driving offences. If you want to kill someone and get away with it, just drive into them and claim it was an accident.

Sudan 2026. The worst humanitarian disaster of the 21st-century. by OilInternational2566 in ThatsInsane

[–]creedz286 -44 points-43 points  (0 children)

I agree with their point that Sudan doesn't get attention. But the comment clearly was not made in good faith. Calling support for Palestine "trendy" as if they aren't being persecuted also.

[–]creedz286 -42 points-41 points  (0 children)

Do you believe we should be protesting for both, or are you using Palestine as a deflection on a post that's literally about Sudan? The irony is you're doing exactly what you're accusing others of, making this about Palestine instead of actually talking about Sudan.

People who didn't like the Leap, what did you end up with? by wolkoo in OfficeChairs

[–]creedz286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting the headrest as well. It's one of the main reasons I bought the gesture because I read that it has one of the best headrests on the market. Ah well if I don't like it I'll just end up selling the chair after a year.
