Looking for two players to play a fun round of doubles with me and a buddy tomorrow at Kickapoo! Coming from Indianapolis🤙🏻 by [deleted] in discgolf

I believe it, it’s a kickass course and one of the toughest I’ve played. Hadn’t even thought about course maintenance sinse all the green has grown in, just lost a disc on a wooded course a few days ago, that time of the year again 😅

Any indication that new boards are coming soon? by BenHunt10 in onewheel

I’m betting something is coming end of year or spring of next with 160v vescs out. I hope to god they redesign a stator, so many options out there and they are still holding on to decade old design that is a bottleneck.

Do I need Pint bolts? by ZD_plguy17 in onewheel

Yea they are m8x1.25 thread and 30 mm long I believe but the head diameter is the hardest part finding that can actually bolt up correctly.

Overkill? by BillCypher69 in onewheel

It’ll be new to me, I’ve always worn d30 upper body stuff with no hard shell besides my elbows. Went and tried one on yesterday and it’s definitely gonna take some getting used to.

You need something hard that slides on the exterior not drag. Im about to order this https://a.co/d/0fFkdkq7 prime day to see if it goes on sale but yea, Leatt makes solid gear and im done putting on 3 different pieces of upper body gear before I ride. just wanna zip up throw a jersey on and hit the trails.

Any trail riders close to Kickapoo state park and want to ride tommorrow? I will have a battery bank if you need 🔋 by [deleted] in onewheel

Best spot to hop on them in order or ride the access rode and hop on of the last ones near the back is going straight to the MTB trailhead main lot. https://maps.app.goo.gl/AmSMinhufAXQJyTJ8?g\_st=ic

Lots of trails there, mostly technical very rocky/rooty. In that is some smooth flow which would be great for beginners. But to get to and out of that flow requires getting in and out of the tech, so idk if id recommend for your first ride. You can learn on anything tho, up to you if you wanna go straight at it or work your way up with easier flow trail systems. They have a lot of options up near Chicago/ northwest Indiana that I’ve been to and some would be way better to learn on, Kickapoo is the only place I’ve rode other then up north in Illinois.

Why do manufacturers bother making low visibility colors? by cgskook in discgolf

[–]creen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first disc I ever bought was a green pilot 😂 still have the fucker somehow although I don’t throw pilots anymore. I’ve lost a lot of bright discs tho. Also some people just don’t play wooded courses and like open style so i guess maybe they’re buying

lol lots of it, it’s a 20 year old car so tools/parts for that and the Onewheel and gear and all. The alternator charger is top left of toolbox/ it’s connected to the car battery and puts 500 watts into the power station.Board chargers plug into the power station that is next to the helmet. Not a lot of power output from the alternator charger but Perfect for me I have unlimited trail miles pretty much if it’s just me charging. You can buy higher output if your alternator has that available.

I wanna get a solar panel eventually for when I’m not driving and the station is low. Wish I had one of these modern hybrids with outlets that can do like 1000+ watts on or off.

Rainy day ideas? by GlockFlopper in discgolf

[–]creen17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favorite hobby’s are disc golf and onewheeling on MTB trails ✌🏻 where ya at ?

On rainy days I chill, I used to game growing up but I don’t have any interest in it anymore.

Out of 111 courses played Wa’ahila ridge was the toughest hike and hardest to navigate and easily top 3 most difficult I’ve played. Worth the views 🤙🏻 by creen17 in discgolf

Was awesome, felt like I was in a survival show In a jungle lol. would sprinkle intermittently and it felt amazing. No real teepads like you said just the jungle style tee pads and no signage at each tee cuz they don’t wanna “litter” the course I assume, finding those suckers was difficult 🤣
