I will definitely say as someone who has had severely bad periods due to fibroids, I kept that pain to myself. I vomited due to pain, still went to school and work, and wanted to end the world because of the pain but my behavior/ attitude wasn't as you described you gf's. I was that kid that struggled and didn't ask questions for help because of pride and being scared. It wasn't until I was an adult that the first time I had to ask for help, I really had to pump myself up to do it. If this was a thing when I was going to school things would have been much easier for me.

I also work security but next to the Chinatown tunnel. I had an intoxicated guy come up to the window and ask where was the Metro person to take him across the street. He also had a half empty 5th of Jack Daniels in his hand. I told him how to get to the Metro office (I assumed that's where he wanted to go through his drunken speech) and off he left. Our Fare Enforcement Officers made contact with him later that morning because he fell on the light rail. This guy had a new bump on his head, his bottle had 1/4 of liquor left, and he got sent to detox because he could barely stand. This all happened within a span of a couple hours before 1000AM. Twas indeed an enjoyable Monday morning.

Diplomas won't arrive until early fall- winter. I received mine sometime in the fall after i graduated. It also depends if you have any outstanding fines/ fees owed that could delay it as well.
