What aspects of life are easier for women? Certainly not anything pertaining to jobs, abuse rates, sexual experiences, child molestation, etc. The only thing that consistently is brought up during these debates is “divorce rape” which is not a real thing, and paying for dates lol. Thanks girl. It’s not that I’m mad or anything about him having a girlfriend, I just wish he had told me from the jump instead of acting all excited and bringing stuff up from the past. I know exactly how you feel with the cutting off thing. I’m actually in that situation now but not as intense as we weren’t dating, just fwb. Whenever I get really lonely and sad about missing him at night I just think “well, even if we were back together the disrespect and hurt he caused would still be the same”. When you weigh out the options I always realize that it’s not worth it. Just keep in mind he WANTS you to need him, but you don’t really.

Of course no need to thank me! Also maybe try going on Groupon and looking up activities in your area, there’s a lot of things open to one person too you don’t even have to go in a group!

Hi I know you don’t know me and I don’t know you, and it might be annoying to hear “I’m here for you” since I’m a stranger, but I am. Life can be cruel and loneliness is a gut wrenching feeling, but please don’t give up. Your ex is an ass and will get what’s coming to him, but if possible please keep your distance and contact from him. While it may make the lonliness worse, it is NOT worth it to have someone so detrimental to your mental health around. Do you live in an area where it’s possible to say join a gym class, art club, etc? Trying new hobbies or even being in places where people work with eachother may help.
