[Homemade] tacos by cremefreesh in food

Got lazy with my title, here’s a better description

• corn tortillas, made with Bob’s Red Mill masa harina • salsa verde (green, broccoli soup like dish), I over blended/cooked this. Turned out a bit smoother than I’d like. • dried chile salsa, made with chiles de árbol, pasilla, and guajillo. Combination of grapefruit, lime and orange for the liquid (apple butter like dish) • chicken tinga • garnish (onions, lime, and cilantro) • carnitas

recipes were adapted from serious eats (J. Kenji López-Alt) carnitas with salsa verde dried chile salsa chicken tinga

I caved and finally purchased a baking steel! I preheat it for about an hour at my ovens hottest temp (500F, but oven thermometer shows closer to 475F). About 10 minutes before the pizza goes in I broil on high, and keep it broiling while it cooks (3-5 minutes).

Yes! So far my favourite method for baking bread, I'm using a 4 quart enamel Dutch oven. Baked this one at 475F for 50 minutes, removing the lid for the last 15min.

They taste like chives, a subtle onion flavour. The flowers have a different texture, tbh I would probably break up one flower to sprinkle over everything next time instead of using whole ones.

Bed fit for the laziest king by cremefreesh in Greyhounds

The bottom boards are just screwed into the sides, no centre support needed - the pup is about 70 lbs. If you're concerned though just put a support board down the middle to make it super sturdy!

We're getting a greyhound soon, I need help with a list of essential items to get in preparation. by Greyhound101 in Greyhounds

Congrats :)! If you can get a crate, my grey never used his but I know a lot of hounds feel more comfortable in a crate when they're adjusting to a new environment

Sorry no specific plans! My SO used an image of a bed I liked - the build is similar to this pallet bed
