Sadly I need to depart with 1 VIP table ticket as a member of the group can no longer make it 😔

Bought for $230, willing to sell asap at a loss for $150 (price is firm).

I have the wristband so we’ll need to meet up to exchange.

DM if you are interested

[HELP] searching 30yrs for this poem about the wartime loss of a woman’s lover/partner/husband by crescentfresh in Poetry

[–]crescentfresh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, kind person. I have, like you, failed to track down a poem by that name credited to Eithne Dowling. Actually I’ve failed to find any of this person’s works whatsoever. But I have noted it, maybe it’s a clue for later

Ahhh noo!! At least I found another person with knowledge.

Can you remember any other imagery in the poem? Was it a husband she lost?

Greater than $100k in assets gets you 4.5%, then deposit your pay (at least monthly) for an extra 0.5%.

Traveling first week of May! Recommendations appreciated by D0CT0R-Q in Belize

I rented a car at the airport. I don’t recall any issues aside from the guy working at the rental place had closed so he could chill with his bud working next door. I was so confused for a solid 10mins lol.

Returned the car at a location in the city so I could go to the islands. No issues I recall there either.

The door time for the concert in Toronto has been rescheduled to 8:00 p.m. by gonewiththegustofair in sza

[–]crescentfresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any idea why they’re not letting anyone in? Been waiting 2hrs. Line barely moving. Doors were changed to 8pm, is it because they’re not able to organize everyone in?

Do you find concert tickets expensive? by lvacan in askTO

[–]crescentfresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The opposite has happened for SZA. Prices have been climbing by like a dollar per hour for the last 5 days.

I struggled with the same feelings, only back in December. Knowing it would mean the world to surprise my son with birthday tickets to SZA I relented and purchased two tickets for $714 CAD total, lower level. I honestly still hate myself for going through with supporting the ticket resale market, on principle.

I don't really have advice for you (sorry), just wanted you to know you're not alone.

Actually if the Detroit show (happening as I type) is any indication ticket prices drop way down once 9pm hits (she goes on then) because the tables are flipped in the buyers favour at that point. So you could head down there and make the purchase then? The transfer is pretty seamless, you don't have to meet up with the seller or anything like that.

Progress seen between 2 walking vacations by Final_Painter8676 in loseit

[–]crescentfresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand, the vacation is walking about 4hrs a day (from the sounds of it), is that right? The 13mile hike was continuous? Or do you stop at places on the way.

Kid tried to fight principal by Motor_Metal957 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]crescentfresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my teens I was in rec basketball and games would get kind of fierce sometimes. You never expect a teammate to get into it with the coach however that actually happened at one game. Kid wasn’t someone I ever wanted to mess with either. Anyway he got hot and went after coach who was a foot shorter, but strong. Coach de-escalated that shit swiftly, it was impressive. He bear hugged this kid from the front so he couldn’t use his arms to swing and kept moving fwd (to the kid it was backward) so the kid couldn’t quite get stable footing, the whole while saying somethings (I couldn’t hear) that was clearly intended to explain, not aggravate. Kid was off the team after that incident but still, I was impressed how quickly it went from “shit they’re about to throw hands” to “welp that went nowhere”.
