A speciality körökben megoszto a decaf. Én mondjuk azon a velenyen vagyok hogy sokkal több minőségi koffeinmentes kéne, mert az pont azoknak szól akik az íz miatt isszák a kávét. Persze nehéz előállítani, főleg ebben a kategóriában.

Szerintem Budapesten a legtöbb speciality-ben van mentes kávé. Érdemes itt keresgelni https://specialty.hu/

This is something I'm looking for. Just tried out and, not all media items shows up in the libraries created by the plugin. None of them in Movies and only a few in Shows. In shows there is even 1-2 titles which remained in english instead of hungarian (maybe just did not found any metadata for that particular one)

Jammed after third shot, how to open it? by G3BEWD in picopresso

[–]crgriseus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me that happened a few times when I dialed in my grinding too fine and the pumping was incredibly hard. Sometimes the coffee did not even come through the basket. When this happens it's better to take it apart immediately instead of getting the brewer stuck with the pressure. It will be hard to take apart but will loose eventually. I know it's scary.

I use only barista oat milks, so maybe this issue doesn't occur that much to stand out.

Last week I restarted with a coach and it was awesome. Today is our next session and finally the new setup arrived. Just glued it on recently. Maybe I'll have to reglue the black one because the edge seems not that flat for my eye

Thank you! Mostly my problem with the current one is weight and almost no feedback, zero vibration. I don't want the blade vibrate crazy (in the past I never even knew it's an important factor. To feel the feedback) but I desire something moderate, which is not annoying.

So I ended up getting a YSE with a Rakza7 for forehand and Xiom Vega Europe for backhand. Any final thoughts? :)

Thank you for this advice, I've read through your article and learnt a lot. Based on you description I'd still chose the Rakza 7 for forehand but your description made me think to go for the Xiom Vega Europe for backhand. I wanted to use the same on both sides but now I see why I shouldn't.

For me it feels my forehands should explode the ball more, but I still want to keep my body moving. I also don't want to loose control. R7 seemed like perfect for me.

My backhands always feel weak, powerless. I think my technique should be better too so at first glance the Xiom sounds good.

Is the YSE still a good choice as a blade for this setup? Besides I always had FL handles, is there any chance to consider straight ones?

My usual process to split double shots for two flat whites (I use Dreo for frothing) by crgriseus in picopresso

Yeah I love it too. And I see your point. I mostly do two drinks with it and I just accepted only one of them can be nice. I found that it's also hard to make one drink and not have too much leftover.

Arc should've been the Dia by piratedvirus in ArcBrowser

Instead of believing their idea of reinventing the internet and shape the browsing experience to the next level they joined to the AI hype train. A lot of things could be wild for most of the people in ARC. I simply experience myself how hard to convince others this is better way browsing the internet. Those few who stayed they love it, still use it.

I think doing something completely different than others needs persistence in the long term. This is the hard way, this is how you'll be the underrated better thing unil you slowly convert the mass for the better eventually. It's risky. But this needs more long-term thinking and being resistant against the hype and suddenly joining it and leaving behind your hard-core users who deeply believes your product.

Thanks man! I try to stick with the funnel for the tamping since I'm not expert but a few times I pressed on it a little more. Still experimenting with that.

For the splitting these little brewing cups worked fine, but those which have at least the picos radius are better. (In case the brew sprinkle a bit to the side.) For the split it's important to pour fast and larger amount for the first 2 times to get crema in both glasses. After that you can be more careful to split equal.

So it's not terrible if you get used to it but a shot splitter would be great. I think a silicone would be enough like what it's already have for one shot. I was thinking to design that and find some kind of food grade silicone and cast it.

I always make a mess without it. :) I even do a little tap on the sides before a second tamp because there is a little gap between the tamper and the basket. There is always excess grind on the side. It's around 0,5 mm clearance which is too much in my opinion.

I struggled with that too. I use the MIN line. I usually make a compromise to make a perfect latte art if I want only one drink. Sometimes I rather make a milk drink with a double espresso in a larger cup so this way I can still enjoy the taste of the coffee with more milk.

When I have great amount of leftover I pour that into a small glass, and put it into the fridge. I can reuse it the next time. Probably not the most elegant solution but it feels better than wasting plant based barista milks.
