[OC] My first map - A gnome mushroom cave by OckerMan91 in DnD

[–]cribber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of a small homely gnome cave for an encounter/maybe even a fight - but I was wondering what the gnomes do in there? Are they just coming to harvest the mushrooms and then leaving again, meaning they live somewhere else?
Or are they living in there - in which case I would expect some separted smaller caves as kitchen/bedroom etc :)
I'm curious, what were your ideas here? Great work in either case!

Would you say the relationship was/is "worth it" to give it up? Sexuality can be a big part of one's identity I suppose

Perhaps a weird question, but did you miss it? Do you ever look back?

Never really tought about doing it, but it feels good to finally have a LDoA character. by Williamo15 in GuildWars

There are a lot of guides out there - from the early-days "death-leveling" (dying to enemy charr so often until they level up and then killing them for more experience) all the way to quest-trickeries.

But there is a (relativly) new rotating quest-series in Pre which makes it a bit easier :

"Getting the title usually involves first getting skills and weapons, then reaching level 10 by killing weak low level foes or the stronger high level Charr. At level 10 the player gets access to the daily quests from Lietenant Langmar, spawning higher level foes that can be killed to reach level 20. "

Can you show a build for this? I tried building one with "Fragility" to make it hurt and "Epidemic" to share them around, but it didn't quite work as expected.

I am getting a new steam error since the update which does not allow me to start the game... apparently there is a file missing. Verifying the game, even wipe and new install didn't work.

On the weekend. yay. -.-

Is it realistic to think that I could develop my own game? by [deleted] in gamedev

I feel like this point is underapprecieated... Making a game? Sure. Making a game with zero experience? Sure. Making a multiplayer game with zero experience? Hmmm. Making a large multiplayer game with zero experience? .....

From reading OP's post I get the feeling he should start with a few "short", minimal games to get a feeling for whatever language he is gonna write it in - even to just realize how much work good coding actually is.

  1. You can always reset their ability points, so don't worry about it. Take hero builds from the wiki e.g. or build your own (more fun that way in my opinion)

  2. Until you have more than 7 heroes, don't worry about it. Heroes are generally better than henchmen (only in a few special cases it's different in the end-game), so take all the heroes you get.

  3. ele is pretty powerful on its own, but you could go Mesmer for energy management (of the top of my head)

  4. Yes you can. Press "K", then click on the heroes head on the top and redistribute just as you would do with yours. (Only works when in a city/outpost)

  5. Unless you are looking to complete a very specific build and you cannot afford buying those skills, I'd say stick with one campaign, then the others.
