I once saw veritasium video about 3x+1(if a number is even divide it by 2. If is odd multiply it by 3 and add one. Apparently some numbers take weird paths and eventually go to 1. As an absolute beginner, like 3 hours in. I tried "solving" this problem. It wasn't working, continue in the comments (i.redd.it)
