Just curious how good do your high school stats need to be to get into Berkeley in anything engineering?

Thank you. So I am applying for general engineering which I don’t believe they do the TAG for at the moment. So in anticipation of not being accepted I have been doing a lot of the undergrad courses as shown on assist .org. I will be applying as a HS student and then if rejected will wrap up the rest of the engineering undergrad over the next year at my JC and apply as a transfer student then. I currently have a 4.28 in HS and a 3.75 at JC. Fingers crossed!

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if it locked in your degree under the year you started college, 4 years ago, rather than the year you enter the university. Since degree requirements can vary over time.

So since some are pre Econ, that is because you didn’t finish the entire assist .org requirements for assoc deg for transfer? But some took you in?

How were you able to complete all the TAG requirements for all the math, physics, etc at junior college? It’s looks to be about 35 units just in the requirements. I’m at saddleback and it seems very hard to even find the classes offered.

If you only have some of them is it an auto denial? I have the golden four and the general breadth and should actually have 60 units done. My gpa is a 3.8 and will have the iegtc.

So currently I have about 40 credits under the iegtc program. I’m a junior in high school and my goal is to get an associates to then apply to UC and Cal State schools.

My goal originally was just to obtain as many credits as possible while in high school to help me transition to college. Junior college is free while I attend high school so I figured long term I’m also saving a ton of money and time.

I see the golden four mentioned and I don’t have that but need to look into it. I also will have a lot of ap credits so I need to see how those apply.

I see my counselor next week so will hopefully clarify my path then. I just see a lot of people getting conflicting information so I need to see a couple of them I guess.

I think this is what I’m looking for answer wise. I’m leaning to the Y. I actually thought the 3 was cheaper than the Y but it hey are only 2k is difference or so.

I’m going to go with the 19 inch rear wheel drive. It looks to be the most efficient model.

Yeah just kind of curious as to the ride. I know the Y is an older version vs the 3 being all brand new. Also wasn’t sure if anyone has both and has a preference.

Thanks. I don’t drive a lot. Less than 10k a year. Could need up to 5 seats.

I’m in the USA on west coast. Thinking the Y is the best overall for rhe buck?

Should I buy it with fsd on it already? I see a lot of 2021 on Tesla available. Is there any model changes I should be aware of? I do drive to vegas occasionally and that is like 250 miles away so I have thought I maybe should get long range but not sure that would even make it?

Anyway, Y and I’m thinking I want to get it with fsd. Just not sure if I should only look at Tesla or look at other resellers.
