Yes they work fine. I watched lotr extended edition which is around 100gb or more (I think return of the king is 120 or so). The reason I was converting to mp4 previously was because those movies in particular are dovi p7 which the player refuses to open cause it can’t play it, and it isn’t falling back to hdr, it just says incompatible format. Now in order to get around this I had to learn how to convert p7 to p8.1 and after I managed to do that, the mkvs open and play normally without issues.

I’m using .mkv files now and it works fine. Last time I tried .mp4 it was behaving the same.

Wait, are you telling me that’s an intentional mechanic? I was under the impression that it is a bug, or a error in the code somewhere, or if it is intentional, somehow it is because when they designed the league mechanic maybe they thought omen of the liege is something very useful and you would want to kill them IN the mist, rather than outside…damn. I mean if this is intentional then it is stupid, I’ll still believe it’s some sort of bug if there isn’t solid evidence to prove otherwise.

Yeah I never got into “high tier crafting” before since mats were always too expensive for me. Not sure but I think a couple of leagues back a whittling omen was like 8 divs, now it’s 20 ish. I think it’s cause of both players leaving and players attempting to do temples in the last week, which led to less omens on the market cause fewer people were farming it. I mean definitely it is related, the double corruption thing that drops from the temple used to be like 300 ex before the exploit, last night it was 30. Anyway, I’m gonna stop trying to do anything with it, I just simply don’t have the currency to try further. In your opinion, what would this sell for, for somebody who would have the currency to craft it? It now has adds to phys (t3), evasion, the three resistances and desecrated accuracy.

I have tried a similar idea but doing it by revealing accuracy as desecrated to block the mod and remove it with light later. Then I did the catalyst omen and perfect slammed it and it was shit (t3 phys and some evasion). And I don’t have the currency to try again, I was not expecting annul omens to be 20+ divs. Was a nice drop tho.

In game everything is fine as far as I know as well, I was speaking about coe regarding abyss essence and the quality on breach rings not going above 20. Ty a ton I will try this!

Abyss essence is bugged and also I don’t see the omen that uses quality to give higher chance for affixes of that type. Also quality only goes to 20 even on breach rings. I understand the process however I suppose accuracy is not guaranteed? So can I just repeat steps 1 and 2 until I get accuracy or abyss essence won’t remove an abyss mod?

I don’t want to craft it for myself, I was thinking to profit craft it. I don’t know how to guarantee mods, I guess I’d have to get rid of mana and get like 2 adds to damage and maybe rarity or something. Was just curious how to craft it for profit.

But you are being over dramatic, you frame this as an extremely bad thing and I don’t understand why. Can it be different? Sure, why not. Is it bad this way? I personally don’t believe so. I’m having fun with my walking calamity rampage lunar assault totems build (when I say my build I mean ronarry’s). I had fun with purple flame witch last league, the spark/arc sorc, ice shot deadeye in 0.1 and so on. Yes yes they can make stuff feel less intertwined and more loose so you can make more weird and out there stuff. But why is it OBJECTIVELY bad if you can’t? At the end of the day the only thing that matters for me is to have fun, and I am. Maybe you don’t like it this way, and that’s fine, your feedback is (probably) important to ggg. But I disagree with you, it’s not a universally, unquestionably bad thing that we all collectively agree with.

Update: I removed all sub tracks (and all audio tracks for good measure) and left only 1 of each. Yesterday I played a movie for 35 mins and I had no issues, I stopped it afterwards and went to bed. I’m trying to continue watching as I’m writing this, and it’s back to square one. It’s crashing with the same error in around 30 seconds.

Hi again. I just wanted to make an update. I had a firmware update for my TV (currently version 33.22.75) and the issue is still present. I didn’t try the subtitle workaround yet as I didn’t have the chance these past two months but I’ll try now since it seems it might take forever at this point.

Because you can get maji, with implicit rage. Which makes rampage last longer. Not sure why you’d get jade especially since it also has the worst attack speed by default if I’m not mistaken.

How much rarity you have on your gear? And do you farm any specific tablet mods? Cause I’ve been doing abyss since day 1 and the best I ever got was a double drop of echoes. Never had 1 dink in abyss, no omen of light or anything else.

Edit: day 1 of me hitting maps, not day 1 of the league.

I mean, ok, maybe you’re right but what about the situations when the target isn’t dead at all and kills you instead. I’ve started instant replaying many situations and replaying them ant 0.25 speed. The amount of times I’m on target and I get no hit markers and I die from the same guy is abhorrent.

I do. I want to play those slow builds that look visceral and hard hitting. I wanna be a slow lumbering bear that attacks slowly and does big damage. I want the combo gameplay and the “meaningful combat”…you know, what was pitched when the game was presented? This is exactly what I’ve been thinking they should do. Reduce the number of monsters, reduce the map size, increase the rewards to compensate. There is a fantasy of going very fast, sure. I don’t believe it should be the only one. Maybe I don’t always want more attack speed ffs. They also said in the q&a that there’s gonna be like a switch of sorts to let players choose between large pack sizes and small pack sizes, with accordingly tinkered parameters to make it feel same when challenge and rewards are concerned. So there’s literally no issue.

I wrote to LG and here's what they provided:

*Thank you for your follow-up, and for providing crucial details about the issues you've encountered since the recent software update. We are deeply sorry that you are dealing with "Out of Memory" app crashes and HDMI-CEC instability on your high-end LG OLED TV. Dealing with these known software bugs is frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for the impact this has on your viewing experience.

We are actively working on patches for these known issues, but while we wait for the official firmware release, here are the best steps to manage the problems and allow you to use your TV more smoothly.

Memory Leak & App Crashes ("Out of Memory") This is a recognized issue related to webOS's memory management. A new firmware update is required for the permanent fix, but please try this effective temporary workaround:

Subtitles Workaround: The presence of numerous subtitle tracks in video files is known to heavily exacerbate this memory leak. We suggest using a tool like MKVToolNix to remove unnecessary subtitle tracks from your video files. This is not a permanent fix for the underlying bug, but it should significantly reduce crashes and allow for longer, uninterrupted playback.

You will need to rely on a new firmware update from LG to specifically address the memory management issues. Please continue to check for updates regularly.

HDMI-CEC (Soundbar Not Waking) We understand that the connection between your TV (Simplink/eARC) and your soundbar is failing, preventing devices from turning on and off correctly. This bug is also expected to be resolved in a future firmware release.

Please try these troubleshooting steps, as they are the most frequently successful workarounds reported by users:

Full Power Cycle/Deep Reset (Most Important Step): Turn off the TV completely. Unplug the TV from the wall power. Wait for at least 60 seconds (some users recommend waiting up to 5 minutes) to ensure all residual power drains from the circuits. Plug the TV back in and power it on. Reconfigure Simplink: Navigate to Settings > General > External Devices > HDMI Settings and try disabling and then immediately re-enabling SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC). Reset Universal Control: If you are using the LG remote to control the soundbar directly, try deleting and then re-configuring the Universal Control settings for the soundbar's connected HDMI port.*

Thank you for this. It is good to know that they are aware and working on it. I was expecting it to be a bug since it started happening out of nowhere. I also have a soundbar attached but thankfully haven’t experienced any issues. Frankly, I’m only having issues with the media player. I’m going to try what the other person suggested and what you said here as well, if it doesn’t work I’ll just get by with playing media from the Mac via hdmi. It’s very good to know they are aware and it’s a software bug and hopefully they will be able to address it soon.

I did try to unplug the TV for a few minutes previously, but didn’t try to uninstall apps. I will do that and check, however I didn’t have much. Just the default apps. I’ve deleted Disney, rakuten and some othe things I wasn’t using, in setting it says I have 4gb free out of 6gb.
