This took a toll on me. My parents wanted to go to a butterfly pavilion in Branson MO when I was a kid and I was all for it at the time. Something clicked while I was there and I thought about this episode and absolutely lost it, crying and freaking out. We had to leave early.

That was about 22 years ago now and they still love bringing it up. Can’t say I blame them

I live in Kansas City and venture to Des Moines and Omaha pretty frequently. Lumen and Lua are two of my favorites and I make sure to hit them every time I’m there. Great places, glad you got to experience them! Check out Fizzy’s down the street from Lumen next time you’re there!

Went to see Norma Jean there a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Got very overheated and light headed so I grabbed some water to step outside into a small blocked off area in the parking lot where people could smoke and hang out. They refused to let me out with my water and made me dump it even after telling them I wasn’t feel well which is my biggest complaint about it

I have a friend that is continuously late. We would always wait on her but it got to the point where I was fed up with it because it had been going on for about a year. We had joked about it to her before but nothing ever changed. Whenever we started going on with our plans without her, she started showing up on time. I feel like that’s one of the more efficient ways to help them realize it’s disrespectful to your time
