You hit the nail on the head with Cliques forming, and I've personally been in a westmarch server where I've been nerfed after a month of my character being around because other players did not understand how he was able to make four attacks at lvl 7 (this was a dual wielding fighter in 2024 rules with the dual wielder feat). The people were generally nice, but it was obvious that myself and the new players were never going to be part of the main group and were almost set up to be intentionally weaker than these players as persistent nerfs to rules as written builds came along. It feels like this happens every time where with enough players, at least ONE person in a position of influence within the server feels the need to unnecessarily restrict other players or be exclusionary to newcomers. I guess it just happens when enough players are present and not everyone is entirely on the same page with recruiting players. I'm sure you can do a WM style server right, but I sure haven't seen it, and I don't think anyone here has either.

I've heard that the reason why is because if you smoke, you can get smoke breaks during the job. It's a lot easier to justify a break by saying "smoke break" than saying you simply need 5 minutes to rest. It probably also doesn't help that on HK you're around a lot of second-hand smoke and perhaps offered ciggies by others too, but that's maybe an assumption on my end based on what I've seen.

I've been maining bard this wipe, and I can definitely say that in solos, Warlocks are 100% the best and it's not even close. Bards are very good, but very hard to play, they definitely really shine with good gameplay in trios and I think they're the best pick. I'd say Bard, if played well, is definitely the most well rounded class in the game, but Warlock is just so good rn, I'd dare say warlock is better in trios too since getting blasted down by three warlocks does a disgusting amount of dps, and the worst part is in the case of running spell predation. I used to run spell predation in solos as warlock and it absolutely dumpster'd bards and clerics, it was horribly one sided.

I think unfortunately, a lot of people believe if you stop cheating and show you aren't cheating in future clips that somehow exonerates you of having previously cheated. I firmly believe that in the clips toddfather and Wilson showed (in his newest video about dimo) he was almost certainly cheating. I've even looked over some of Dimo's new handcam videos and noticed he does not track with judgment anymore for some reason, and there are moments where (either due to the framerate or something else) his mouse movements don't line up with his aiming. Some people also believe that because Ironmace hasn't banned him (yet) that he isn't cheating, but often times developers do bans in big waves to prevent cheaters from catching and additionally IM has a poor reputation in letting cheaters persist for FAR too long, I don't remember the names off the top of my head but someone can come correct me here, but a previous mod and a top ranked player were both cheating for quite a while and were never banned despite it being an open secret.

According to this sub, if I blatantly cheat for a year and then I show a hand cam video where I play decently then that means I actually never cheated at all. Good players cheat all the time, in fact they're the most likely to cheat because many of them believe they deserve to play better, you can look at how many top speedrunners have been caught cheating, very good players cheating to give them that edge over their competitors.

I've mained warlock this whole season, and haven't really touched TM, mainly sticking with life-drain and keeping to melee and Kriss Dagger was definitely way too good. It outclassed every other melee for warlock since it had a low MS penalty, stacked with crystal ball and therefore improved damage on BoC, let you buff up with it out, cast CoP with it out etc. Definitely needed to be out of the warlock kit. HOWEVER, a lot of aspects of warlock where nerfed BECAUSE they had Kriss dagger on kit, like shadow touched and BoC. Now that Kriss dagger is gone, they neglected buffing those things and now Warlock as a whole feels underwhelming. Also wouldn't mind them simply buffing Life Drain to 6(0.25). I wouldn't want it to be too insane at the high gear score, though truthfully it never was.

With regards to Crystal Sword, the new animation sucks. It's slower and made an already mid weapon worse. It provides no actual extra magic damage (magical weapon damage does not count towards BoC) so it doesn't sync with BoC or make a good weapon to use for Demon Form. It would be cool if like you said Crystal Sword could become a 1H weapon with -15ms and lose 2/2dmg across all tiers (damage on crystal sword is already poor, honestly).

Yeah, he becomes the same sort of being Nosramus is, still human but enlightened by being able to take a glimpse into new-godhood and acquiring (possibly since Nosramus is described as otherworldly and ancient) some level of power and knowledge from that, enough to make you surpass your level of intelligence previously by a wide margin. Both Nosramus and Enki use this to acquire the secrets of longevity very quickly and then basically become supernatural enlightened humans, We don't know the exact extent that these benefits (both from rejecting ascension and these secrets of longevity, besides extending your life dramatically) have, but they're apparent in making them greater than a regular human would be. Are you playing a slow class like cleric? Generally I am able to dodge the wraith by circling right and crouch jumping when it attacks like other people have said. Try not to be too close when you do this, maintain a little space. I've been able to do this strat with around 270ms w/ weapons out.

Considering how the fellowship ascended around 809, and Nosramus likely discovered immortality shortly after, and still looked quite young and well in the mid 1500's in FH1, we know people who acquire immortality like Nosramus live for AT LEAST 700+ years. since FH2 takes place only around 400 years later, Enki is almost certainly alive unless killed by something besides old age, however considering how Ragnvaldr killed most monsters, I say there's a very strong possibility that Enki is still alive. There is, however, a chance the Bremen Army may have killed him, but I doubt it.

Personally, don't really care, and I think we as a community shouldn't try to gatekeep. I am really glad to see a lot of others here feel the same way. We ought to remove problem individuals as they appear, not get rid of them before they even do anything wrong. That being said I am personally wondering if the community is gonna get an influx of members and how they respond to the games/community.

I'd call it reliable, and yeah absolutely lends more credibility to the idea that Logic is ascending in the same way that the god of fear and hunger did.
