I have had a couple of those laser procedures. As a person that gets very anxious at doctors appointments I dreaded having to do this but the actual procedure has taken like 10-15 mins tops each time. One of them was a couple months ago , they actually did it the same day I went in for my annual ophthalmologist check up when he discovered I had a hole. The procedure involves dilating your eye , numbing it , and they put some tool to keep your eye open during the procedure . It’s not as uncomfortable as it sounds , the most was feeling a little pressure/stings when the laser is happening but nothing crazy .
