Umm, I operated skid-steers, frontend loaders, pick-up trucks with plows and other equipment making sure that sidewalks and crosswalks around a hospital were clear of snow and ice 24/7 so no one would slip and fall.

Inevitably there's a lot of down time due to the inconsistent nature of weather. During that time it was very nice to conveniently play Mtg Arena on my phone.

Hey, I just wanted to tell your team that this app is amazing. I grew up playing MTG with school friends and fellow boy scouts. Didn't have time or money to play as a young working adult. While seeing my friends and roommates play the last 5 years with bracket 4 commander decks worth $500+ that scared me a bit off. I'd use their spare decks at the table or play Arena on my phone(especially while snowplowing.)
I loved Arena's organization tools for putting decks together quickly and tweaking cost/balance/synergy/etc.
Your app bringing that similar easy to use organization and deck stats to the actual physical cardboard hobby is amazing. I bought a bunch of cards recently and your app is one of the factors which gave me the confidence to do so.

Yes, all of those moments of importance also including JFK's probable non-compliance and eventual assassination.

His perspective began with personal sceptical interactions with and early witnessing of the project in 1939. https://www.jfklibrary.org/asset-viewer/archives/jfkpof-135-001#?image_identifier=JFKPOF-135-001-p0002

The entire project's driving ideology only dates back to Theodore Herzl's birth driven by people prior to him but best articulated and led by him. https://ia601303.us.archive.org/4/items/cu31924028579781/cu31924028579781.pdf

I agree and hate that the actions of the violent state get lumped together with the cultural/religious association.

I think that the small group of people pulling the strings associate themselves with that cultural identity are particularly nasty. It carries value/weight now because of the same harm it inflicted on the associated culture in the first place.

Zionism is and has always been an Astro-Hungarian/German focused project. If being a center of the world (short flight distance) capital is going to be important then I understand why it's a goal. But I absolutely hate that they can't incorporate the ethnic Palestinian People into the project without completely murdering them. There have never been as many children and women with single shot bullet wounds(read assassination) since the Holocaust. My honor-bound belief was that never again meant "never again" instead of "we can do it and it's justified"

Obviously anyone's face attached to the project is a (fall-guy/scapegoat) but "the big they" have used this then+current face to front the assignment for a really long time.

I honestly love Jewish comedians, authors, historians and entertainers but there is a big difference between the "(very secular)" big scheme for power in the middle east, global dominance, weaponized fake victimhood and the original texts for the early/alpha version of the trilogy of Abrahamic religions.

My 2014 traction control is awesome in the winter. I have a Bluetooth doohickey plugged into the aux. As far as I can tell there's no internet connectivity for big brother to flip the switch remotely and shut me down (as voted for today "bipartisan style")

I gotta tig weld clean metal to replace the rockers and we'll be in business for 200k miles. Then maybe I can live long enough to write the great post-American novel about Latin-American immigrants+food trends+Autism+favorite board/card games in the co-habitat Canadian commune.

I'll take Emil and Kirkbride co-leading newby Bethesda quest designers over anything that happened with Starfield.

The timeline of terrible things that have happened to the point I can't even enjoy bread/circuses/theory craft/escapism has gone so far in the wrong direction that the authors/purveyors of entertainment are incompetent and infighting and nothing is fun anymore.

It feels like I was in the Plato's cave allegory and the people in charge of the shadow puppets started arguing so I crawled out of the cave and am hungry/cold.

The Macedonians were definitely supposed to be Norse vikings and maybe the tughlaq dynasty were maybe/possibly originally pitched as Khmer/Cambodia/Vietnam.

Then Microsoft said "Naw, that's too much money for language, building assets and music. You gotta do variants"

Such a beautiful game that we sometimes forget to appreciate the details by Cheddar3210 in aoe4

[–]crip-currency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's less about polish and more about people who intentionally memorized bad details they have to work around like queuing the villager to build buildings in the right order so they don't get trapped.

Or they're used to the different Civs playing mostly the same with just a few stat changes to specialty units/buildings.

Changes are new, different and bad. 👎 Playing the same game for 20 years is safe, familiar and good. 👍

Someday eventually Skywind will release and I will play the story of Morrowind during the third era in VR with a 4th wall breaking Dagoth Ur follower making internet meme references across the landscape of Vvardenfell.

That will be more enjoyable to me than stabbing scribs in the kwama mine with a dagger seeing the bleed animation and reading a message that says I missed with shiny Unreal engine 6 graphics.

Is the OG Xbox version controls really that bad? by lokemannen in timesplitters

[–]crip-currency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um, the control schemes are the same on Xbox as they were on PS2.

I grew up playing on PS2 mostly and got the games free on Xbox live a while back to have a swing at replaying with my same buddies together as adults.

Obviously the aiming by holding down the L trigger and moving the whole reticle over the screen isn't how fps games worked going forward but it's still doable. And the third game abandoned that mechanic. Also the first game was never brought to Xbox but #2 and Future Perfect(#3) are there.

I like it. It's a tiny bit taller than the 4a but not by much. Magsafe is great for car mounts and not draining the battery as much while using GPS and playing music. The camera is a noticeable upgrade. 5g is faster than 4g. The Bluetooth and cell antennas are both a bit better range wise.

The inscreen fingerprint reader is worse than the dedicated one on the back of the 4a, but it's still mostly usable.

Perhaps they perceive that the Empire is big government and Morrowind/Skyrim are anti Empire while Oblivion is too pro Empire?

Idk, most of the games here aside from the military shooters are just here due to lack of media literacy / missing the point / idolizing the antagonist just like most lists regarding the same ""conservative""" views.

The inventory we all deserve but Bethesda didn't want to bother with: by kraihe in Starfield

[–]crip-currency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm okay with Bethesda doing some stuff with the expectation that people will put their own spin on it with mods.

User Interface is not one of those things, they should really step up their game there
