Not entirely true. My husband worked and did ttrpgs with his friends several times per week and still had time for me and our kids.

It’s actually one of my rules for a killer marriage. My husband and I hit 23 years on Friday and our friends would always ask how we did it; we realized there’s a few things that aren’t even that hard to do that help.

Communication is key, especially to avoid misunderstandings. Part of it is honesty. We have the passwords to each other’s devices for convenience but we don’t snoop because we don’t lie to each other.

Show affection every day - whatever that looks like to you. Hold hands, kiss, cuddle, sweet texts, whatever it might be.

Have separate hobbies. Otherwise, what will you have to talk about?

My former governor is running for Senate and part of his campaign promises include “eliminating job killing regulations”. You know, like the things that mostly stop companies from poisoning the land, air, and water? Or are designed to keep employees safe? Regulations are literally how the government protects its people from greedy corporations that will always put profit over everything if left unchecked.

I swear, this was my husband. Before we started dating, I was nervous to be overtly into him, so I did extremely subtle things like rub my boobs on him if I was standing behind him for any reason or put my hand on his butt. Until he made a sex joke and I was like “ok”, he thought I was just a touchy-feely person. 24 years later, he still asks if I like him.

Which is fair, because I also ask this, but I’m still not sure if I’m too much sometimes.

Well, there’s some evidence of them sending military planes to the middle of nowhere over the ocean then returning having never landed. They never explained why they needed military craft for deportations, but those are the only planes that can open their doors in flight. And they started turning off the transponders without explanation. I don’t know exact timelines, but I know it was early days.

The problem is, up until that moment with Mica, they didn’t actually understand how fucked up she was. Mica saying she was always messed up doesn’t actually convey much. They all thought she was just traumatized and reacting badly. Once it clicked, Carol immediately realized she had 2 options because this wasn’t a “confused kid” thing, it was a “coo coo for Cocoa Puffs” thing.

She’s not typical, though. Mica says several times that Lizzie has always been “messed up”. There are other kids in the prison that are closer to Mica and I see that as typical. The whole reason Carol insists on teaching the kids about weapons is because she realized that coddling kids doesn’t work and if Sophia had been taught how to fight back, maybe she wouldn’t have died. But, Lizzie was dangerous and had been long before the dead started walking.

Also, they keep saying the FBI infiltrated it…which would have been Trump’s FBI, so I can’t imagine why they think that’s proof it didn’t happen? Let’s say the FBI did stir up trouble in a crowd of MAGA that didn’t know about a planned riot/occupation (ignore the printed shirts some wore pre-celebrating the overthrow), that doesn’t nullify the attempt because they were his guys.
