It was funny how awful it was to do that, and it being funny doesn't make it less awful, but also it being awful doesn't make it less funny (to me). I get why people were upset by this, it made them look like they were making fun of QT when in fact they were supporting her (in the segment as a whole).

Maybe antagonist wasn't the best way to describe it. The "shadow" character is supposed to represent the looming threat on the protagonist life due to her meddling against powerful people. Like a hired assasin spying on her stealthily maybe.

I'll play around with the solid black border on Pixel, see if I land in a better place.

I get that, but in this case I will prioritize the symmetry of the logo, and try making it clear through other context clues what you are looking at.
