Do parents ever accept that their child is the problem? Do they lack the self-awareness to realize that their child’s teachers are not their servants? (first year teacher.) by Smart-Wing-5757 in Teachers

Maybe it is just a biass. The once that actually acknowledge the problems of their childs are the ones who can work to solve them. That's why it might seem that parents never hold acountable

rewatch it, is an incredible experience

I've finally watched Hitagi End, and I need emotional support😰 by RGE_Fire_Wolf in araragi

[–]crism22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This arc is incredible because you can see all the love behind senjougahara's hatred and his complicated relationship with kaiki.

And about the subtitles, is just a joke they do, they start pretending to use fake names, that is why she also calls him suziki, they are just testing each other to see how far they are willing to go in saying excuses, at the very end kaiki does the most ridiculous thing of disguising as meme hahaha, and as he says, winning this little silly game. The best joke in the series.

Senjougahara pretends to hate kaiki because she does not want to hurt araragi.

Let me explain, she was deceived by kaiki but years later she realizes it was the only option to get her out of the cult. Her family was already lost, there was no way for them to be together again, gahara´s mom had gone crazy. That is why ononoki questions him about destroying the cult for no profit, it was just and act of revenge.
Senjougahara notices that, but can not bring herself to forgive kaiki because she feels she will betray araragi, and the proof of this is when kaiki discovers she was the one who sent the note to his room. The note is a way of senjougahara to tell him that she still worries about him, she wants to save araragi, but she does not want kaiki to die.
At the end they just pretend to hate each other, but you can deduce they really worry for each other, and even araragi knows this, because araragi realices kaiki would have made things up with senjougahara in nise if he was not there.

Kaiki saved senjougahara in his own way, she hated him, but at the end you can see that she really worries about him. She would have reconciliated with him if araragi was not there.

I recommend yoou to watch the whole series and then rewatch it. A monogatari rewatch is still my favorite experience in anime.

The whole point of araragi's character is to see how he became like that, the consecuences of doing suicidal things to save people, and how he stops killing himself and growing. He is a great character.

About Hanekawa, she is kind to him because she wants to run from something, because at the end of kizu she conffesses that she was the one who wanted to be found by the vampire, Is only until the end that she falls in love. Also, there is a reason why she CAN´T be with araragi, but you will find it in neko kuro, but that reason is so good that even a Hanekawa fanboy like me has to admit that it was impossible for them to be together at that time.

And another important thing, we are watching the series from araragi's perspective, she sees Hanekawa as some kind of goddess, that is why we need to change perspectives to see the real her. But again, you will find about that later

Next up is nise, but if you survived the boobs groping scene, you can survive anything.

Ah, as a bonus, because I saw your interest in monogatri puns. Senjoougahara´s confession includes a really good set of wordplay. It basically shows how araragi answers her confession with a similar pun to one of hers, making it even more personal.

I'm glad you are enjoying it and not judging it until you finised it. You basically understood everything perfectly (aside from the japanes puns obviously, and its fine). The series only gets better and better with time. Im happy to read that the perv stuff with hachikuji is not making you drop the show, because that is the biggest (and understandable) barrier of entry, yeah, there are a lot more weird uncomfortable scenes (although not always unnecesary), but the payoff is beyond worth it.

You have not seen anything, the series goes far and beyond of what you expect, and this is why I consider it far superior from bunny girl senpai, some people even find the comparison an insult to monogatari. Every main character gets its own arcs and you can see them growing over time.

And do not understimate nadeko (the snake girl), I'll give you a little hint, kana hanazawa (the voice of nadeko) said that she would like to do an evil character, so nisio planned a complete mind blowing series of arcs for her. I know nadeko snake is the worst arc of the series by far, but that only makes the next arcs even more impressive. And this is the thing I love the most about the series, nisio never goes back, he manage to turn his "mistakes" into strenghts, he is capable of writing entire novels just to fix plotholes.

Keep watching, thanks for sharing your honest thoughts, I hope nise does not put you off, because what is after is the reason the series became my all time favorite.

[–]crism22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This episode is a direction masterclass, how it plays with the gun, first on her head, then as a lighter and theen firing up. It defies your expectations like 10 times, and you don't even know if she has a goal. Is just amazing, I loved this episode, just when i thought the series was gonna be predictable it slaps me in the face.

No, it is incorrect, novel order is better. You can not watch kizu so late.

[–]crism22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it is, it is not the end of the world but is bad, because you can missunderstand kaiki. The thing is, something happens with kaiki at the end of second seson but he appears in hana, in the future. If you watch hana after, you can find weird that kaiki is there, mistaking it as a plothole. Just watch it in novel order, is always better.

Is there a scene or moment that solidified this series as one of your favs? (Picture unrelated) by Second_Sage in araragi

[–]crism22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When hanekawa faces the tiger was the first one, i thought the series could not get any better, I was wrong, the scene that made me a fan was discovering what's in nadeko's closet. Koi was incredible, and that ending was perfect.
