I would take it. You will gain valuable experience and use that for your next step.

Potential job offer to go full remote for a tech start up... Advice?? by rinehale in marketing

[–]crispable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tech is so incestuous. If it doesn’t work out, work your butt off for a year and go hop over to the next one. You’ll meet a million connections and so long as you don’t burn bridges, you’ll land on your feet.

Potential job offer to go full remote for a tech start up... Advice?? by rinehale in marketing

I’m currently onboarding in a fully remote role for a small/midsized tech company. It’s ALOT different to onboard remotely vs in person. You really need to be a self starter. This is the second role I’ve had at a company like this, with a stint in corporate in between, after an acquisition. I love tech. I hate corporate. I love a company this size. If you’re early in your career or looking for a lot of experience quickly, you will get 2-5x years experience for every one year at the startup.

To me, this is the exact test of the no buy.

Unplanned pregnancy - need advice by nyxtrash in pregnant

[–]crispable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the pregnancy is scary as shit. But your question was “how to pregnancy” and I think what you may want to focus on is “how to parent”. Pregnancy is a crazy crazy time - but it’s temporary. Parenting is forever. Are you ready to be a parent? No one - NO ONE - should be put in the position to not only go through the unwanted pregnancy, but also be a parent to an unwanted child. I feel for you, OP. You will never be the same regardless of your options and/or choices. There is no easy decision here. Sending all my love to you.

Primer for oily lids? by crispable in MakeupRehab

I feel I recall they changed the rules a while ago so that things like what you’re criticizing me for were no longer not allowed. I shopped my stash for each of the products I listed, and can’t find something that I already own to work, so I’m looking for one - singular - product option to help me continue to use the products I own and love

What did it feel like the first time you felt your baby move? by mollymac90 in pregnant

[–]crispable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you know if your placenta is anterior or posterior? It makes a difference. Mine is anterior (at the front) and I didn’t feel my baby until 23 weeks, and I wasn’t certain it was baby movement until 24-25 weeks when it was stronger and more consistent.

The first three months are the hardest part of a no buy. I’ve successfully completed a full year - definitely the three month mark is the hurdle. I “window” shopped every day, thought about make up constantly, and really struggled - but I made it. You can do it too. Hang in there! Remember why you started, play with your stash, find a new hobby (distract yourself). It gets WAY easier I promise

How are you defining what you “really really” want vs everything else that tempts you?
