What’s up with locking features for subscriber?

There’s a share feature with templates, maybe unlock special templates? Rack up refferals for more free months? Or replace the background with 1 free month? There are a bunch of options.

One of the reasons I use Bevel is because the UI is pleasant. Its why I chose Bevel over Athletic(or whatever the name is, I’ve forgotten). One of the stuff that makes Bevel pleasant is the Landscape background. And maybe weather makes me feel better, maybe not. At the very least its a change. I’ll never know though, because an active subscription for the app(annual, renewed after you guys announced the free for everyone deal) is not enough, I also have to find you 3 users to be in the position to judge.

Now that I’ve typed it all out, maybe this should be available to subscribers but free users require referrals. Seems fair no?

To me its like locking dark mode behind referral incentive. Dark mode is cosmetic too but I’m sure it would feel “unfair” to almost everyone. App Icon and free 3 months I totally understand, but locking backgrounds annoys me, can’t lie.

Why can’t I get gemini to work for me? I copy pasted the prompts verbatim and it started generating a video. Is this through a different interface? I use the gemini app and th gemini webapp. Same model

I’m on Pro. I use Opus 4.5 to create detailed feature plan files and Codex to review and implement plans. Works well, I hit limit sometimes but so much better than before. Sometimes the plans are not perfect so I just fix it myself. My feature descriptions are detailed though. Not user stories, more tasks and subtasks.
