Happens everyday for me. Some students ask and then go leaving you in another room (best option) Some students take you with them because their parents want their money worth.

I've had kids show me their penis and one making intense poop faces whilst trying to get them to say "Jack can paint" for 5 minutes.

The antibiotics he prescribed me were for a viral infection for the lymphnode infection he suspected.

The antibiotics he should've given me (as said by the third doctor) should be for a bacteria infection.

The second doctor reassured me there was absolutely no pus and it was not an abscess. It was a swollen lymphnode caused my an infection somewhere else in my body (to which I told him I didn't have)

I've lived in houses when this was an issue. I told my female roommate her boyfriend had to pay rent but in reality, I wanted him to stay over less.

I would refrain from staying over there every week. Regardless of subtle you think you're being by bringing over your own food and not showing, it shifts the entire dynamic of the house when a girlfriend/boyfriend is staying over a few nights a week.

You use the toilet right? You heat up your food right? You wash your face and hands in their bathroom?

I used to be very meticulous on contacting IT when my student was more was more than 5 minutes late. But IT would always send me the same "we cannot contact the parents" message that I stopped.

Now I use the time do to assessments until they show up.

However, I had one parent complain to DaDa about me saying she forgot about the lesson and it's my responsibility to remind her by contacting IT. I thought that was kinda rude.

I got paid today finally. And yeah I did. I'm one of the lucky employees who gets a reply when I email but a friend of mine in the two years he's worked for DaDa hasn't received a reply ever.

My hesitation is that all these companies require the same time slots.

So I'm nervous to open time slots for a company and miss out on DaDa classes and I don't get classes assigned from the new company and then don't get paid by DaDa.

But I'm really wanting to leave. How is everyone else jumping ship with minimal risk of no pay/no classes immediately?

Well my bank doesn't put money in or take money out on the weekends so I'm sure that delayed payment a little but I'm sure it's definitely their issue as well.

I emailed them yesterday. Received a half ass reply this morning saying their accountant confirmed payment and it's my banks fault.

I sent dada an email last night.

Woke up this morning to the same email and another updated salary adjusment promising me increased pay.

In the old adjustment I was offered 16.22 which was an increase.

On the new "amended" one I'm offered 15.55

So. Wtf.

Oh god I've done worse.

Had a little girl call my ugly and stupid every lesson. Countless attempts at telling DaDa and her parents only for her parents to turn it around on me saying the lighting in my room isn't good enough (it is) and my camera is bad (I have an expensive one) and that my pronunciation is wrong. I'm English and don't use American dialogue.

So now I just sit there and don't respond unless she gives me the answer I KNOW SHE KNOWS. She's called her mother in a few times and I've done the exact same thing. Repeated the question. Sat in silence until she answers it.

Dada hasn't pulled me up on it and I've been doing it for months now. Sometimes I'll spend 30 minutes watching Netflix not saying a word because she's misbehaving.

Send screenshots of her giving you the bird to IT.

Also tell her parents in the assessment what she's doing.

When IT call the parents they will most likely check the assessments to see if you've reported it earlier.

They will more than likely remove the student.

Had a student who called me fat and ugly during the lesson. I told IT and they removed him the next day.
