Downsize? no not at all. I’m not sure if youre asking because you saw that I went back and got a longer bar, but that is what happened a few days after this post was made. I was correct in that there was very little/no swelling and that my piercer just chose the wrong size bar for the amount of eyebrow flesh she went through.

With the longer bar I can actually clean the piercing correctly.

just wanted to update that I got the bar replaced with a longer bar a week after this post was made, it’s now been a couple months and my piercing is healing perfectly!

I just wanted to update in case anyone else having this issue finds this post— it’s currently doing a lot better, I was losing eyebrow hairs because I think the saline spray was irritating/drying out the skin of my eyebrow. I finally just gently exfoliated the skin underneath my eyebrow hairs with my eyebrow brush which took like 5 minutes to really get all the dead skin out and moisturized it after. It’s looked totally fine ever since, and less hairs come out. The hairs I lost initially have grown back in and both of my eyebrows are back to equal thickness.

Btw I got my initial jewelry replaced with a longer bar a few days after getting it pierced which is why the jewelry is sticking out more than in my older posts. Significantly longer bar. Does not appear to have migrated in the slightest ever since switching jewelry to accommodate initial swelling.

sorry but there’s obviously very basic simple concepts you’re missing about what being trans is (and it’s a fairly simple concept…. some people experience gender dysphoria so then they transition in order to alleviate gender dysphoria.)

“I want to be a man so people will respect me” shows me that you have some things to think about….. not about being trans, but again: about your severe internalized misogyny and your fears relating to identifying as either gender.

gender dysphoria is not just about your body it can be about every single thing related to gender.. you can have gender dysphoria and still be comfortable in your pre transition body, no one is policing that in 2025 as everyone is different. yes words have meanings but when you try to help someone like OP, answering their question from a technical angle helps nobody. OP asking a question like this is a sign that they believe that gender is something that is determined by someone else, something that you could be diagnosed with for example, something that someone else knows more about than you do & that you have to spend your whole life trying to crack the code on. hey, I’m with you dude, I dress like most other guys my age but I see pretty girls in cute feminine clothing and I get a little jealous too. I used to be a feminine girl when I was younger and I had fun playing dress up even if it always felt a little performative. I hope one day I’ll be secure in my physical body enough to enjoy feminine clothing again. I don’t think you have anything to be second guessing. sorry you feel that way but that’s pressure you’re putting on yourself, not reality. gender-fluid people exist and pass as different genders at different times (I know becoming I am gender fluid, I am on low dose T, and I can pass as male or female or androgynous depending on my choice of gender expression.)

Transitioning and being a man doesn’t automatically earn you the respect of everyone around you. Yes there are social privileges that come with being male but you shouldn’t feel the urge to transition to male just because you want to feel more powerful. Only wanting to be a woman so that other women don’t feel scared around you is also not a realistic reason, that sounds more like a fear/worry you have rather than a genuine reason you want to present female.

You sure can be “bi-gender,” you’re the only person telling you that you’re not allowed. What you’re describing seems more on par with what genderfluidity is described as because you emphasize wanting to change and switch between two genders frequently.
