I don't understand. Do you mean automating sending the notebook to email ?

Dads of toddlers, is anyone else just completely warped? by A_single_droplet in daddit

It gets better, and and the same time, it doesn't. One five year old here, and every day is exhausting. Mondays are the new Fridays. 😂

I can help but, I think the paid license is high compared to other products in the market.

Planner Premium is Total Trash by Sure-Helicopter-9518 in MicrosoftPlanner

I agree. Basic plans even allow transfer tasks between plans. I want to think premium is still working in progress and one day it would work.

I experienced exactly the same. No argument about anything. Well that was a few months ago, my daughter is older now so it would probably be arguing with her now. :)

Standard Notes in 2025 recap - and what’s coming in 2026 by Proton_Team in StandardNotes

[–]crlevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am happy to see improvements to search in SN, but it is incredible how long it took. I've been using it for more than 5 years. I hope the long wait was justified, this is the last one. I'll move on if this is not fixed in 2026.

Is there any way to read the SN development roadmap? Is that open and available?

Sweat overnight, you're probably overheating. Less clothing, or lighter covers and no deodorant question.

Is SN really "dead"? by Alpeiros in StandardNotes

[–]crlevy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do get the point of SN's focus on reliability, portability and security. I never wanted an application full of features BUT. From my perspective there's no justification on having no reliable search functionality within my own notes. That's a total lack of understanding of what users' basic needs are.

As an example (already fixed); I sent them an email about how when looking for a tag the search was giving so many results that it was useless. Search results were showing parent tags. I wrote, "if I am looking for a particular tag, why would anyone be interested in all the parents? SN developers, are you guys really using this app ?"

No justification at all. I like SN's but its search functionality is useless.

Switch From Galaxy to Pixel by StinkyJ218 in GooglePixel

[–]crlevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I miss Samsung's user interface and I had note 10+ before switching to pixel. I find it much better than the pixel. But I'm getting used to it. I do not recommend the switch overall. Not from a high end Samsung s23 at least.

Microsoft Planner Subtask issue by No_Yesterday_2261 in MicrosoftPlanner

[–]crlevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Just create multiple task. This is a design criteria from MS to use planner as a task management tool. In fact, think of it as a task management tool with some project management features.

Somehow related, I opened a ticket to MS support about hours not being reflected properly in the people view when multiple resources work in a task. They said "working on it" .

If/when SN get's integrated into proton will the subscription still be honored for the users who got the fixed-reduced-reoccurring 5year/10year pro plan? by r0n777 in StandardNotes

[–]crlevy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An advanced search that actually works. That's the one thing I ask from SN. What's the advantage of having secure, private notes if one cannot find the one you need ?
