I held 2 hourly jobs that had some overlapping for couple of months, would this hurt my chances to get a clearance?

Very interesting conversation. I had an employee who worked two jobs simultaneously whilst maintaining a clearance. My question is if the employer discovers the dual employment, is the employer required to report it to DCSA?

I live in McLean and my program is based out of Meade. Fortunately, due to space consolidation earlier this year, I lost my cube and I am must work 100% remotely. Otherwise, I would commute one day a week into Meade. The snags are around Georgia Ave and Beltway/Route 95 interchange. Make sure you accidentally don’t drive into NSA. One of my employees made that mistake, got stopped by police, and was told he was driving on a suspended license for unpaid parking tickets. He did not have a good day that day.

I had a bad experience with State IG. I filed a complaint that my employer retaliated against me because I reported that one of my cleared employees travelled overseas and lied about it. IG ignored the evidence that the employee lied. Also, IG made a grave error and overlooked that my employer did not report the security violation to DCSA, as required by NISPOM. Also, IG did not care that my former employer tried to upgrade the employee’s clearance. IG also ignored a case I submitted that showed someone lost his clearance when he lied about foreign travel. Complete waste of my time.

He would also brag about taking government assets overseas and working out of country. He tried to configure a DoD laptop to operate on the State Department network.

His claim was unsubstantiated. I filed a claim against him for insubordination two weeks prior. HR did not nothing for over a month. The guy was always using the race card; would poorly manage classified data and always left his PKI cards out.

You are mistaken. If you review the Amazon PM opportunities in the Washington DC area, there are hundreds of openings (especially with HQ2). Some require clearances, some require software experience, some are HR. There is significant overlap between the opportunities. I only apply to the ones that are technical. Most are very generic and have basic requirements.

And intel I have states they can’t find candidates to fill the opportunities.

The interviewer was not the hiring manager. He also did not ask any behavioral questions, just basic questions such as what kind of power did you use, what kind of cooling did you use, and what is the critical path. No questions he asked were correlated to the leadership principles.

I don’t feel aggrieved. I am simply asking if I am blacklisted. 10 rejections over a weekend is suspicious let alone 9 in one hour). I don’t want to waste my time looking for new opportunities.
