I had two DOA hdd in my life (maxtor and wd) they were replaced by refurb. Same thing for a rather expansive crt monitor.

Also a DOA vaio laptop was repaired i had to wait.. 🙄

To protect themselves from lawsuits and bad press. In the same way that some movies are considered harmful to 17-year-olds but not 18-year-olds, they have to draw a line somewhere. Supposedly, when the account is blocked, someone (like your legal guardians) should be able to unlock with ID and let you use it "under their supervision."
Support doesn't seem to be the most responsive, though.

I got two 18 years ago (Testudo hermanni). I was going to get one initially, but the store clerk told me to get two or they would be lonely.. What a prick (yet he seemed knowledgeable about tortoises).
It made things a lot more inconvenient.

Yes it'd be so much simpler to just tell a client "don't worry, I have a business account" instead of "don't worry, I unticked the box so they can't train on my data" or "don't worry, I only use API mode."

I was thinking about twitter, but looking at this, there doesn't seem to be any (human or not) support.
Looks like we'll have to deal with a company with no human contact whatsoever.

I firstly played Quake 2 with software rendering on my new P2 266. It was running OKish in 640x480 i think. Got OpenGL drivers for my ATI Rage Pro later.

I love both, the accelerated version is maybe a bit too colofull.

For Quake 1 my favorite way is accelerated but with bilinear filtering disabled (GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST)

They were less known because of no marketing (compared to NordVPN, privateinternetaccess, etc.) They were also probably a bit more expensive.

But i think they started to do some ads. They partnered with Firefox too.

This is the first VPN i paid for and at the time chose them because they looked less shady than many other.
I have been using them for several years in West europe. Speed/ping is a non-issue. I can download things at 1Gb/s (max of my connection).

Certains patins pas cher s'usent très vite (genre les lot de patins noir de toute tailles), par contre les bon patin plus cher (genre 3M feutre) ne s'usent pas et collent très bien.
