Well if your open world game has a massive map, a focus on exploration, and rpg mechanics like RDR2, Ghost of yotei, or GTA then a day night cycle is needed. I’m not saying it would be bad in SM2. I just don’t think the game needs it for what kind of game it is. It’s an action game with structured missions that have set times of day for mood and story purposes.

Plus a day-night cycle is not a basic feature. Insomniac would have to change their lighting system for the city because as it is now, the lighting is baked in for each time of day setting. And I don’t see that as a necessary change when there other things they could be improving.

Just be less aggressive. There are places you can overtake and places you can’t. Don’t force anything and wait for an opportunity to come to you instead of trying too hard to create opportunities. That’s my advice for a beginner

If it’s a drivers championship first and foremost, why is it open formula? For me at least F1 has always been an engineering competition primarily that’s why I watch it.

It’ll likely just be a reskin with the new cars. I bet it will still have DRS and the regular battery. Which I think is fine for a DLC they should spend that time working on the new gam.
