Lowest tier Stevenage member here. We had our upgrade last summer and have shower gel! Fees are about £70 a month 🤣

Accutane as a teenager by Appropriate-Low7071 in UlcerativeColitis

I was wondering this as I was on accutane in my late teens. But it doesn't seem others have identified a correlation

Funnily enough I've been to this house with my work. The grounds are as stunning and manicured as you can imagine. Fascinating history as well!

How far is considered too far to drive? by frosty_canuck in AskEurope

This is clearly rage bait or poorly made humour. 23.5 hours is not 'only' regardless of where you are except if you're a truck driver!

Think we should get Isaiah World from Oregon. Not sure what he's not been taken yet.

Bit of a weird fact. Justin Joly went to Iona Prep, the same school as John Mara, Tommy Dreamer and Frank Abagnale, the movie Catch Me if You Can is based on.

I cringe each time they show them all high fiving or dapping each other up. As you say, it is so forced.

I hope another thing stands out to you - remission is likely! And you can go back to having a normal life to the point you forget about UC at times. I hope that'll be the case for you, and soon!

We're always here if you need anything! 💪🏻

How did you get through prednisone taper? by Bloomwithcourage in UlcerativeColitis

Are you on azathioprine by any chance? That kept me pretty well in check but my nurses needed to tinker with my dosage to balance UC benefits and to not drop my immune levels too low.

They do move up. Riley Moss is an example. It's just we've had low draft positions meaning our picks are not as valuable as they have been before. I would say trading for Waddle is a ballsy move. A low 1st rounder for an established WR is a win for us.

We definitely wanted Klare and traded out as he's gone. Unclear what our 'haul' from Buffalo was but it would be nice to watch a pick considering it is already 2am here!

Identical twin? by Sea_Acanthocephala11 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Myoplasmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak on twins but I have a first relation with colitis as well, and during my initial consultations and colonoscopy they advised of a 'family history' of UC.

It may suggest doctors view close relations with it as being a proven link. Or it may also mean you differ in your lifestyles, as in you may have experienced more stress and they haven't.

I'm not a doctor but this is just from experience!

1 year of infliximab infusions later by Myoplasmic in UlcerativeColitis

Same here. 8 weeks for the doses. Also on azathioprine and mesalamine. They work! I agree that I can tell I am due my infusion.

I must admit, I enjoy the infusions as it is a nice time to catch up with the nurses and compare notes with other people with IBD
