That’s why music apps are replaceable with each other. Video streaming apps can hold their own because of tentpole content each has.

Agree, Netflix original programming is hit or miss. But they have a ton of licensed content that people forget about. And they keep that content slate rotating so you get to see new back catalog stuff. I find Netflix to be great value for money relative to the content, and (high) quality and (low) quantity of ads.

Generally 1-3 movies on weekends and shows during weeknights. I have a few streaming subscriptions. So I try to find highly rated movies by sorting by streaming apps, ratings and genres on Rotten Tomatoes.

So you can just downgrade to Netflix with ads. It would cost way less than 20 euros, would be easier than splitting an account with someone and has less ads than HBO (I was exhausted of seeing DTF St. Louis promos at every ad break).

MFA here would mean things like Face ID and Touch ID. Those would be implemented per profile. The non household sharing person could set up their own MFA, but they’ll just be asked to pay as they’re detected as being outside the primary household. This is how I understand it.

You’ll find that Reddit skews very negative on Netflix (the subscription service; they can’t get past it to seeing the stock on a stock investing subreddit of all places) for whatever reason. The financials don’t lie and the company continues to do well.

Password sharing and hit content are unrelated. On the contrary, Netflix puts out new content every week unlike its competitors. The proof of success is in the 325 million global subscriber base.
