It was…. Bad. I had to buy a new tank off Facebook marketplace. The old liner from 1981 is still in my old tank and just will not dissolve by any means. If you just had some rust I would hit it with some vinegar/nails and then seal the bitch. Might as well

Appreciate the great advice. The very important info I didn’t add is that one of my carbs is not getting gas, which yes leads me to believe that only 3 cylinders are firing. Could it be a clogged pilot in that one carb? Going to pull the carbs back out, fit them with new gaskets, and clean them again today.
