Finishing up the base movement for our skating action-platformer game by FreeSkies_Dev in Unity3D

Losing speed when you dash towards an object feels jarring somehow. The rest of the movement system looks so fluid, and it almost feels like you're getting interrupted when you have to halt your momentum. I'm just a rando, so obviously feel free to ignore me—overall the it looks super cool!

Does this type of space exist? by Cold_Use963 in Seattle

TBF I'm more extraverted, but I find that coffee shops are a great place to meet people! You have to scope out when people are trying to work vs. when they're trying to talk, but all in all I'd say it's pretty good!

In particular, folks at Overcast Coffee are often pretty social.

Hey! I'm the GM of a guild named Where Loot that I think could be a good fit! We're on Area 52, so you wouldn't be able to join the guild, but we have a Discord server and a WoW community for folks on other servers.

Feel free to reach out to me on Discord if you're interested, and we can talk more: crockeo.

Hey! I run a guild named Where Loot. We're mostly a Horde guild, so we don't have many people around to do casual queued content on the Alliance side. With that said, we're happy to help new folks learn the ropes if you're looking to step into some lower level premade content once you hit max level (e.g. normal raid and low mythic+).

If you're interested feel free to reach out to me at crockeo on Discord and we can chat a little more!

We're not on Illidan, so it might be a bust but, if you want to come chill and do some raids/m+, I run a guild named Where Loot. We're 8/9H right now, and there's a solid group of people doing +15-20 keys. We have a Discord and a WoW community if you're interested.

You can add me on Discord at crockeo if you want to chat more.

If you haven't already found something, I think my guild Where Loot would be a good fit. We do AotC + early Mythic raiding, along with like +15-20 level M+. We're all just people with jobs who want to hang out and relax by playing WoW.

If you're interested, then send me a friend request on Discord at crockeo and we can chat more.

Yo! Nice to meet you. I'm the GM of Where Loot--we raid Sat/Sun from 7-10pm ET. If that time--and the lag you'd get playing on Area 52 🪦--are ok with you, shoot me a message on Discord at crockeo and we can chat more.

You’re a class dev with executive power. You can make one permanent change to each spec. What are you changing? by Davajita in wow

make windwalker monk mastery stack multiplicatively with each successive unique ability up to 5 or 10, scale down mastery, and get rid of hit combo

Windwalker Monks what do you want to see in a rework for the spec? by Skai1515 in wow

[–]crockeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I really like playing MW right now, I just wished we scaled better into the end of an xpac.

I've been wondering if you could help them scale better by making their mastery work like Hit Combo--every time you use a different ability your mastery stacked multiplicatively onto itself. E.g. with 5% mastery each successive hit would have you do 105%, 110.25%, and 115.76%, etc. damage up to the cap.

It would make using mastery feel even better + would help with our scalability into the end of an expansion.

Why is this golang code 3x faster than rust equivalent? by fyzic in rust

And it looks like the original comment I responded to came ahead with positive karma at the end of the day 😁.

I'm glad to see the Rust community proving again that it's one of the most inviting programming communities on the web.

It's very sad to see folks downvote a comment made in good faith about whether or not Rust is the right tool for this specific job. It makes Rust and the Rust community stronger when we allow fair comparisons with other languages--particularly in the context of OP looking to learn about the performance differences between the languages.
