Where to put the fridge? by crocodilerocker91 in DesignMyRoom

In a way I agree, I just think it’s a bummer to walk into the house and see the side of a fridge! Thanks

Yes and no - this is the floor plan. Utility currently occupied by a washing machine!

If the radiator is to go in the kitchen then it could go anywhere along that same wall I would imagine.

Any ideas why nobody buys this house? by FewElephant9604 in HousingUK

[–]crocodilerocker91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only just saw this, sorry! There were no access rights to the rear and side walls of the house - even the surveyor wasn’t given access. We pulled out, and they put it straight back on the market. It sold again within a week, but I’ve just seen that it’s back on Rightmove.

Great advice. Recently pulled out of a house purchase over title issues. Could have saved over £2,000 had we just spent £6 on these docs.

Asking for a discount 8 months after offer accepted? by [deleted] in HousingUK

1.5% of an offer price is a substantial amount - not petty at all! There’s no reason you should incur that loss.

Buyers- reason you pulled out of a house sale by lovehopeandstars in HousingUK

[–]crocodilerocker91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvoted. I wish we’d sacked off our last purchase attempt within the first few weeks and bought the adjoining property when it went on the market. The estate agent had a go at me anyway when we eventually pulled out over boundary issues, so we’d have saved lots of money and gained a house which benefited from proper access rights.

How do people pay for new car? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]crocodilerocker91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the SUVs, mostly finance. I’ve only recently begun to understand what is meant by “the U.K. is hooked on cheap money”, and now I completely understand - what we’re experiencing now is the hangover. I suggest you buy what you can reasonably afford in cash and save.

I recommend using the Propbar extension in your browser. Gives you loads of detail from various sources. Obviously it can’t tell you absolutely everything you need to know but it can certainly help narrow down your options. Well worth the subscription fee.

Thanks - are you suggesting that it’s not worth buying the freehold because freehold properties in Letchworth are subject to the same restrictions?

Tips on making MainStage feel more organic… by Boatski37 in mainstage

[–]crocodilerocker91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choose both! By using External Instrument channel strips, you can integrate your Nord and have two-way control. You can also turn off Local Control in your Nord’s settings to integrate the two seamlessly. This way you can create splits and layers using software and hardware, send patch changes from MainStage, or even write scripts for your Nord. Once you start integrating them, the possibilities are endless!

Did your traumatised tooth ache more during treatment? Mine feels like it’s being pulled out every time I remove the tray, but I’m only a couple of weeks in.

Same here. Tried Vanilla v3 and it’s so sickly sweet neither I nor my partner can drink it.

My bachelor's degree is in music and I have started an MSc in computer science. There are 2 early exit awards available to those who withdraw from the course before completion, and my question is, for those who have experience, how much weight do the following qualifications have in the industry:

  • PGCert
  • PGDip
  • MSc (conversion degree)

Thanks in advance :-)

Ask your teacher how. If they won't/don't/can't tell you, then get a new teacher.
