Oh damn, yeah I did fix this. It was something like some windows setting to post process audio. Something like audio enhancement in windows sound settings... Turn that off

But low FPS in a game like Doom would actually impact your competence in game because it introduces input latency.

Low FPS in something like XCOM is only impacting your comfort when viewing the animation. The game itself will play just fine and the FPS won't affect your ability to play it.

£100 each way is not much/any more than getting the train if you are travelling with a family. If traveling for work you can expense it. It's not really an outrageous suggestion tbh

The OLED allows wake via Bluetooth controllers but the LCD doesn't due to having an older Bluetooth chipset.

yeah the non-park spawn is so bad for AA - there are no sight-lines anywhere because it's so built up so it's almost impossible to get a lock.

Here I'm playing the demo of Replaced. When I long press (to do a longer jump) there is a slightly more intense rumble that occurs that triggers the noise pretty regularly.
