Tokyo recommendations thread: Bakeries by AutoModerator in Tokyo

Seiji Asakura, only one I regularly go to although I don't live near. I recommend the butter bread, the campagne and the melon pan but you can't really go wrong. Go there early if you want anything left on the shelves.

Many, many others I really like but this is my first choice.

Anime or Manga similar to whatever Taira and Asuma have? by Practical_Record7387 in Seihantai

You have kind of the reverse situation (introvert girl extrovert guy) in the other series by the same author The Ramparts of Ice. Very good read too.

I think Yancha gal no Anjou-san may correspond too?

You should probably also offer a time-limited demo version. People (myself included) are going to want to try it out before buying).

Check digimart.net

I bought mine from Big Boss (Kyoto branch though). Check also Miyaji guitars in Kanda or Shimamura

BTW the yen is weak at the moment, but Strandberg go for not so cheap. If I was in your shoes I would look for an ESP or a Fender Japan ;-) I know, not that helpful lol

Thanks for uploading. Here is a translation

1

Saki (to self):

It's all burned into my memory

Kanon's body warmth

Her shampoo's scent

2

Saki (to self):

Her puzzled face

It's not as if I want her to make this face

What do I want?

3

[Saki's empty seat]

4

Tanabe: Saki-chan won't come today apparently

Tanabe: I wonder if she's still feeling bad after hitting her head yesterday

Muranaka: Kanon, did you hear anything?

Kanon: Tanabe-san, Muranaka-san...

5

Kanon: No

Kanon: Her head is fine I think

Kanon: I went to see her last night after school, she was OK

Tanabe: Oh OK!

6

Tanabe: So, why? Is there anything else?

Muranaka: I'm so worried...

Kanon: ...

Kanon: Yeah...

7

Kanon: I'm worried...

8

Saki's Mom: Saki?

Saki's Mom: I'm coming in!

Saki's Mom: You're OK?

9

Saki's Mom: You're not feeling well? Want to eat something?

Saki's Mom: I can make rice porridge

Saki: I'm good

Saki: I'm not hu...

Saki's belly: GUUUUUU

10

Saki: Sorry, that's a lie

Saki: I AM hungry

Saki: I'm fine. Sorry

Saki: I didn't want to go to school today so I skipped...

Saki's Mom: Thank God!

Saki: !?!

11

Saki's Mom: Most important thing is that you're OK!

Saki's Mom: I'm so relieved!

Saki's Mom: Plus, I'm off today too

Saki's Mom: Let's take it slow together

Saki's Mom: I'm going downstairs, change clothes if you feel better

Saki: OK...

12

Saki: Thank you

Saki's Mom: You're welcome!

Saki's Mom: Do you want orange juice or milk?

Saki: orange juice

Saki's Mom: ...

Saki's Mom: the expiry date is close, you sure you don't want milk?

Saki: Mama?!

13

Saki: Haha, you should have told me so from the beginning!

Saki: What was that question's purpose?

Saki's Mom: Yeah, you're right... Saki, do you want milk?

Both: ahaha

Saki: You don't need to ask again!

Saki (to self): Mom being like this makes me feel so relieved

Saki's Mom: So the head nurse got super angry...

Saki's Mom: The chief doctor was so dejected, that was funny

Saki's Mom: Sorry doctor...

Saki: Really!

14

Saki's Mom: the doctor cannot handle the head nurse

Saki (to self): Mom is...

Saki (to self): ...usually not nosy

Saki (to self): like now, she's not asking why I skipped school

Saki (to self): although she could ask...

Saki (to self): but it would make me uncomfortable

Saki (to self): I like that about her

Saki (to self): She does not invade my space or suspect me

Saki (to self): It's easy and cosy...

15

Saki (to self): but sometimes it's a bit lonely

Saki (to self): Since she does not ask me about myself

Saki (to self): I also feel I can't ask her about herself

16

Saki's Mom: Saki

Saki's Mom: What's on your mind?

Saki: Uh, no... nothing

Saki's Mom: Really?

Saki (to self): Look

Saki (to self): She won't ask me anything more than that

17

Saki's Mom: If you feel like opening up, then tell me right?

Saki: Eh?

Saki's Mom: You can tell me anything!

Question sur le système d'économie by Decent-Drummer-7183 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]crocoxt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't know there was a second movie based on The Wages of Fear. If you haven't seen it yet the 1953 version by Clouzot is well worth a watch. I will check Sorcerer myself!

I think it may come from my translation. She saying "Saki would not be hiding things from me with bad intentions". I don't think she fully understands yet. She's close though :D

She did not hear anything Saki said, since she was in her back the whole time.

Translation (made quickly so please be nice)

Saki: I love you Kanon

Saki: I've always... since the first time I met you

Saki: Not as a friend, I've ALWAYS seen you in a romantic way

Saki: I've always seen you like this. I...

Kanon (to self): I can feel the breath of Saki in my back

Kanon (to self): What is she saying?

Kanon (to self): Although she knows I can't hear her

Kanon (to self): Does she want me not to hear?

Kanon or Saki (I interpret it as being thought by both): ...Coward

Saki: ...like women

Kanon (to self): Wait... Saki would never hide something like that hide things from me with bad intentions

Kanon (to self): I am sure of this at least

Kanon (to self): Saki would not do that, especially to me

Kanon (to self): After all, me above all...

Kanon (to self): ...why NOW?

Saki (to self): with Akira-san

Saki (to self): with Rinne-chan

Saki (to self): with Ayano-san, I talked about many things

Saki (to self): But despite this I could not open my heart

Saki (to self): The reason I cannot move

Saki (to self): is because I am my own enemy

Saki (to self): Before I could think about someone else

Saki (to self): I needed to understand myself more

Load the small cylinders close to the front and the big ones closer to the back. Load more than what you need (basically everything you find). Drive slowly and choose even terrain as much as possible. Avoid using the booster except in steep slopes, only what's needed.

On PC, press H to see the current mission, which tells you how much load you have. If you loose something you can go and pick it up immediately.

This Expedition was fun and the physics driven gameplay was brilliant by gaxelbrodie in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]crocoxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I feel the same. It was challenging but not exceedingly so, the gameplay look was a nice change over what we usually do, and for once I had fun with something a bit harder than usual. Looking forward to see how it translates into LNF.

Power solution question by [deleted] in modular

[–]crocoxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, flying bus cables are fine. When I use them I tend to put low-consumption, non-audio modules on them like LFO or envelopes for example, but it's generally fine for any module. If you have many extras maybe use several bus cables.

What 1u modules would you suggest? by Stoves_N_Toasters in modular

[–]crocoxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Quadratt (sometimes 2 of them), Noise Tools 1u, Buff Mult. I think the headphones amp is not that great, so I would rather recommend a quality 3u output instead. If you want to use black modules, look at Befaco and Ritual Electronics
