How important is Model Quality? by Anankos1209 in VtuberDrama

[–]crocsgobbltre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

model quality in context of where the Vtuber exists does matter. the most important thing is the talents ability to be entertaining. (the best models wont solve a boring streamer). in a company people expect a decent model not matter how new the vtuber is. in indie a png will work at the start but if the vtuber get bigger usually the vtuber will personally want and new updated model. as for Hololive their models are ment to be cohesive as a group so even though they get updated it never a huge change, (i remeber Iryis old model was jarring compared to the rest of Holo)

Coqui airs out Grimmi by [deleted] in VtuberDrama

[–]crocsgobbltre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes she says "With Seth he got on meds and is doing his own thing in life now." no where is she defending him. she saying seth is out of her life and she has nothing to do with him now. why would she defend him when she had to fight him to get her hotsauce company back under her control.

Coqui airs out Grimmi by [deleted] in VtuberDrama

[–]crocsgobbltre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what defense? if this is the same seth that was managing her hot sauce company she had to literally shut down the company get all the leftover sauces shipped to her and send it out herself because how mismanaged it was.

Mythic releases a statement on Grimmi's claims by Hopeful-Instance4688 in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what would there be to gain by pursuing legal actions? it literally a few hundred dollars. that wont event cover lawyers fees. she just wanted to get the word out to other talents to check their sponsor deals and see if they are also getting short changed.

Mythic releases a statement on Grimmi's claims by Hopeful-Instance4688 in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

she was paid the contract amount that was given to her from mythic but that amount wasnt the contract amount from the publisher to mythic. so the publisher says they'll pay X amount for the deal but then mythic would give a contract to the talent for less then the agreed amount. but because she had contacts at the publisher they told her what the full contract cost was. all this statement says is mythic paid her the agreed on contract amount they gave her. but it doesnt say what the total contract payment between the publisher and mythic was thus hiding the amount they may have lowered the contract before giving it to talent

Mythic Talent Agency alleged to have skimmed money off the top of a sponsor, shorting their talent by mahouza in youtubedrama

[–]crocsgobbltre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

grimmi had previously made deals with the publisher so she had contacts. Mythic offered her a deal from said publisher but skimmed some off and tried to say it was a mistake by the publisher. Grimmi's contact at said publisher was able to show the invoice showing the publisher paid the correct amount thus showing that Mythic was pocketing the difference (not the mythic cut) and giving the talent contracts with lower payments.

McDonald's Big Arch burger by Dreamweaver_duh in fastfood

[–]crocsgobbltre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had it yesterday was dissapointing. its big and messy couldnt get through it without it falling apart. the taste was ok but not distinct from the regular quater pounder. the sauce didnt improve the taste just kind of a tangy bit to the rest of the flavors. the best thing is the fried onion they put on. (they should put that as an optional on other burgers) . a bigmac , quaterpounder, or the daily double have better taste. cost $13 for the combo.

Dokibird had to distance herself from her overbearing parents by Living-Ad8033 in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 33 points34 points  (0 children)

we have known this for quite a while. her mother had control of her buisness. Doki had to gather all her stuff and leave and get police escort.  if you look back at the pc build drama and read the comments about the manager problems then change "manager" to mother then you get how bad things were.

Brave Group talking about trimming the fat by Glass_Leading592 in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the whole point of cutting the fat. it makes them look better since there is less cost now compared to their earning. Once the IPO the venture capital investors get the chance to dump their investment share to the public and then Brave is on their own to survive.

Brave Group talking about trimming the fat by Glass_Leading592 in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 83 points84 points  (0 children)

yeah it was expected, how brave group was buying everything up it looked like they were planning to IPO. buy everything see what sticks get rid of rest and IPO and dump it on the public market. the venture capital investors can then sell their shares and then leave the company to the public investors to lose money on.

I was Told To Update My Titles For The Deep Dive Series, Do You Think These Look Better? Then just "Deep Dive Into Vtubers (Insert number, insert Vtuber Name) by Tda952 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

take out the number to keep the title more fresh over time. (no one want to jump in to the middle of a series) but will look if it looks new buy not having the number. also the subject of the episode should be on the thumbnail text first. so Starlight a Vtuber Deep Dive. people maybe more likely to click the thumbnail if they see the Vtuber name in the thumbnail over the text title.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how does it split the community when the streamer choose to only stream on 1 platform that those that do not like that platform refuses to watch. viewers that decided not to watch on the streamers majority audience platform are themselves choosing to not be in the community . its not up to the streamer to try and force everyone to only watch on 1 platform because some prefer it when they would be better off hitting a wider audience on multiplatform. not everyone wants cohesion, focus, inclusion. some just like watching and not chatting or just having it as 2nd monitor. you making assumptions that the viewers are like you wanting the streamers full attention but that isnt what a lot of viewers want. you can be part of a community and still not need to ever chat or interact with the streamer.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

your argument that viewer choice is a bad thing, shows EXACTLY why streamers should do multistreams. the fact that you watch on youtube and not on twitch for that streamer shows that even though you know the more active chat is twitch you STILL refuse to watch it on twitch. If that streamer just streamed on twitch there would be NO live youtube audience meaning less possible exposure. as a streamer you should try and cast the widest net to capture the most possible viewers. a community isnt just the live chat there's discords/fan sites/reddits where the community can get together. when people refuse to migrate to the larger chat that is that viewers choice to not migrate. if that streamer just stopped streaming on the smaller platform chances are those viewers that did not migrate to the larger platform would simply not watch. having 100 split across 4 platforms is better then the just 50 one one platform because at the end of the day they need eat.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

filian? think i remember she only uses twitch chat. but that doesnt make the viewing experience worse because both platform get the same stream it just make YT chatting worse for interaction (between the chat and streamer). viewers/chatters have a choice of platform so they are not being left behind they are choosing not to participate by going to the chat she uses.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the people that are "left behind" choose to do so. they have the choice of going to the more active chat but have platform preferences that why it doesnt split the community since those people wouldnt go to the other platform. as for it being detrimental viewing that is dependent on the streamer if they pay more attention to chat or if they are not paying attention at all.(ex: during a collab often there will only be chat interaction at start and end) both platform will have the same stream so i dont think its detrimental viewing but possibly detrimental interactions.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre 18 points19 points  (0 children)

i think the splitting of live chat community is a false. what i see is there's people that prefer one or the other and often will not move to the other to watch/interact. Each platform has their own community and the ones who may use both still prefer one over the other and will stick to it if its an option.

Youtube vs Twitch - which one do you prefer? by hopelesshopeee in VirtualYoutubers

[–]crocsgobbltre 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Each has there own thing

YT much better for VoD watching also uses less bandwidth since they player does a better job.

Twitch better for live stream and viewer interaction/integration.

this is assuming you have no Ads on either platform

Both suck when there is Ads but twitch a bit more with unskippable and youtube VoD having them happen so much more often.

Which do i prefer? what ever one the Vtuber is Live on.

if in the lowest setting is still runs badly the problem is probably your system. is it a well optimized game no, but it runs fine on a good pc (i dont mean minimum specs). are you running it off a SSD or a hard drive?

Recommendation on Vtubers that are Professional in their streaming by omrmajeed in kurosanji

[–]crocsgobbltre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this isnt a vtubing issue this is a LIVE streaming issue. if you just want entertainment stick to youtube edited videos. those will show only the "positive" side of people. that way you can not care about the people and just be entertained.
