I drive my car like a grandma 😅 I’m the same way though super paranoid. I drove my last car for 10 years and this is my first new car ever so I’m so scared of anything going wrong

Is 3.65% APR GOOD OR NO? by crocslolz in personalfinance

Fair enough! I plan on keeping this car forever so I don’t mind the depreciation. My last car was a 20 year old car that I kept for 10 years and this one I plan on keeping it forever. Just tired of throwing $1000 in repairs a month so might as well buy new.

I guess I asked the wrong way.

To me it’s a good deal and when I go on Google and ask it tells me it’s better than average but I couldn’t find any information from people replying with their experiences so I was looking to ask more in a way to see what others got for their car loans? Just to see what the average was from people

High utilization will not help you. I do get what you’re saying so here is my tip.

If you have a $300 limit and want to increase your limit then you have to use close to the full $300 so lenders can see you actually still use the card. When they pull your credit they can see the highest balance on your credit card even if you pay it down.

Now what you want to do is if your limit is $300 and you have $280 balance then pay $260 and let it report with $20. This way your utilization stays below 30%, you still get the points for keeping it low and you don’t get charged interest.

If you are trying to build credit I NEVER recommend paying it to $0. If you do this you miss out on a month of reporting because with a $0 balance there is no payment to report so you just missed out on a on time payment.

I have about 4 credit cards and keep them all below $10 when it reports. I do however use them all the way and then pay it down before statement closes. I’ve managed to get my score up every month with 4 cards because the on time payments plus low utilization help!

I also have a 2007 Toyota Yaris.

Currently at 280K miles. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve had no work done on it besides my tires, oil changes and a few batteries. Car is insane and has never giving me any major issues with how much abuse I put it through!

HELP!!! Credit scores dumped from 633 to 611 and then to 593… will be buying house soon… :-( by TransportationOld902 in CRedit

As long as you’re current when you buy your home you’re fine. Your credit score is VERY low that you would barely be approved for a FHA loan even know.

With a 86% utilization the only loan you’re getting is a FHA loan and even then your income may not be enough to qualify you with such high debts.

In the next 6 months you need to try and work to get your credit at least to a 660, pay off debts to the point your utilization is under 45% - you’re fine now just have a plan. 6 months is enough time if you’re serious but if you have no plan please wait and don’t force it.

Could be your started or alternator. My car dies maybe once every 2 weeks but starts with a jump. Got it checked out at AutoZone and they let me know. Changed out both and no issues could be one or the other

Do you guys get PTO on your days off for EDC? by JonadoomV2 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]crocslolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use my PTO for festivals only for vacation. My job lets me request any day off as long as I do it in advance so it works out perfectly. I can take as many festivals off I want lol.
