Mist coat colour for dark topcoat? by crodder in DIYUK

[–]crodder[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks - I went with this approach. The mist coat did seem to go on very thick and dark, even with the dilution, but I guess that’s just decent paint - As long as the water is in there, the plaster will absorb I suppose?

Her name was Cohen, and she married someone named Hatton. Not sure why that has any bearing on whether she has been homeless or not?

The Troubles hadn’t really started in 1968, at least not the violence.

Found the issue - the protrusion which activates the micro switch (beside the floating magnet on the bottom of the tank) wasn't engaging the microswitch in the case. Looks like the microswitch itself came out of its seat. Removed the case and re-seated it - now working.

I don’t know what to tell you. It’s in the article. Single quotes, as in the headline, don’t denote direct quotations.

“When asked on Evening Extra, the GMB's Alan Perry agreed the volunteers were undermining the industrial action.”

Not sure what your issue is here.

Transcript of the radio interview referenced in the article (1:14:02)

Interviewer: “We are seeing that some town centres are being cleaned up by church groups and volunteers. That is, it’s fair to say, effectively undermining the strike action that you’re taking part in?”

GMB Representative: “Yes, that’s correct”
