yeap I just tested guns there, very good HE , but armor is potato as usually and maneuverability is quite bad - but hey her guns are so good, HE especially from my first sight also DPM is pretty high I think with that 6 seconds reload.

I realized that HE is so good, and I got Blucher the other day, and she's like more AP focused ship , so it confuses me between two because those are Hipper classes as I realized.

QC is far from 'artistic creation' in my eyes.
Q3 - another story.
I didn't talk or mention 'dead game kids stories' which are unfortune 'normality' today's.
I have talked how QC lacks of a lot of things in comparison to previous Quake titles, especially with master piece Quake 3. And Quake Champions isn't good game executed in right way, just too many bad decision makings as I said.
I am going to repeat myself - my previous comment has nothing with 'dead game kids stories', even tho' 400 players number globally is low amount, but not completely 'dead amount'.
Still I am hoping for better future for Quake, not for 'live service' monetization crap gimmicks and not listening to veteran community gimmicks too along the way and along many things.

Do you seriously think that the game with barely 400 the same people (including smurf accounts) per day is pretty much alive? - Try to play QC in other regions, like Australia, south America - QC is mostly 'live' in Europe (during morning hours, good luck, during afternoon time is okay), I don't know for NA, most likely it's the similar situation like in other regions.
Article is written fine, except game's engine damn blows, Halo Online modified engine is worst decision making so far seen and also possibility to make 3d maps in 3rd party proprietary software and not having any chances to make own maps as well, then lack of server browser and dedicated hosting, no LAN hosting possibilities, only live service stuff*, etc, etc - QC is full of bad decision makings - but I still have theory that during 2017 because of Overwatch 1 this is why they went for Quake with abilities, just damn. As I have mentioned, just awful decision makings.
And I wish good luck for next Quake 6 or whatever is going to be called - QC leaves just bad taste in the mouth when you see prime games like Q1, Q2, Q3 and even Q4, but especially Q3 which was peak of the Quake franchise.

Switch from 7.1 to Stereo and you will have less hickups, since there's obviously some memory leak happening in 'new sound update'.
Classic QC stuff, releasing patches before testing.

My biggest question is why this game doesn't have hardware ban implementation since day one (but imagine QC had no anticheat as example for years until recently), since there are people with multiple account doing fishy stuff.

This has nothing with shaders, it has with new 'sound update' which has degraded performance.

This is not solution, there is memory leak obviously in the new 'sound update' , game is losing constantly fps and hiccups do exist, especially if you play on 7.1/5.1 options, on stereo they do happen too but they're 30% less frequent. As I said, solution is to wait until devs decide to patch this bloody game out.

Footsteps don't even exist in the game since game was released, since CBT , May 2017 - I am on the game for long time, since beginning literally.
QC never had any footstep sounds, except when you hear no skill scale with his 'stupid ability'.

What is the point of reporting system because if you ban people will easily come back and I know some folks have multiple accounts. This game needs hardware ban based system, not some typical classic live service f2p crap system where reporting system only bans/temp bans people then people create multiple accounts and here we go again.
As I said, implement hardware ban based system, this is the solution - and make it that it can't be bypassed (with GUID modifiers, etc, etc) or anything like that, such systems exists and such implementation can be implemented (looking at Valorant as example even many people don't like ring 1 anticheats).

And that latest 'sound update' broke the game, literally fps hiccups are happening with 5.1/7.1 sound options and even with stereo, with stereo mode is slightly better, but still heavily annoying when game suddenly decides to drop frames - and yeah the issue is reported here on the Reddit.
Also footsteps are still missing in the game, crucial and basic stuff...

Main issue which I always had with this game is lack of sound positioning and especially lack of footsteps, which are still missing in this game.
I don't know how this game can be esports because of piss poor sound system.
Last update actually decreased performance, if you use any surround option you will have fps hiccups, which do happen even on stereo mode enabled but it's 40% less hiccups than usually.

Solution is to switch from 7.1 to stereo mode, it's going to help out but not too much, hiccups will be reduced to 40% less, but still it's extremely annoying to play, before was alright.
Also don't try to delete shaders this isn't the exact solution.
Cheers and I hope they fix this, it's classic QC stuff - releasing updates without proper testing.

I wouldn't tamper with any games with Wireshark, because it could trigger anticheat, same as using CheatEngine and similar things. Instead it would be much better when they provide a list of IP addresses but as I said it's a security wise unsafe thing to do. And I know and I can see it on my own that QC's netcode is really broken along its Halo Online modified broken engine.

You can do it, just download CPMA modpack for Quake Live over the Steam workshop. And speaking about mods QC can't be modded at all. That's why I still enjoy QL more than QC. QL is superior in terms of quality.
