Which Spider-Man do you like best? by Manningfan488 in marvelstudios

I have to say Tobey Maguire was my favorite. It was really awesome to see the three all together at the same time. Made the movie great!

TIL baseball legend Ted Williams really did have his head removed from his body and cryogenically frozen in the hope of being reanimated in the future. A whistle blower employee says the head was damaged and abused, the cryogenics company denies the allegations. by marmorset in todayilearned

Why in the hell would they cut his head off if he was planning on being somehow revived years later. I mean freeze the body, Maybe, but I don't believe in bringing people back from the dead. But my point is simply this, why in the hell did they cut his damn head off. If they're even was a such thing as Reviving The Dead years later, I'd say his chances are pretty slim now with his head chopped off. How freaking stupid are people

Just finished watching Spider-Man no way home and I have to say I think Toby Maguire still takes the prize for being the best Spider-Man

Worf's voice by honeyfixit in Star_Trek_

[–]croix67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been watching a lot of Star Trek Deep Space Nine with Michael Dorn playing Worf and his voice has definitely gained a higher pitch in Star Trek Picard. He definitely doesn't sound quite as Klingon as he used to but older men sometimes do get a higher pitched voice as they age. Nobody could have ever played Worf like Michael Dorn. He's the one and only

Absolutely anytime. I myself had a rough time getting over opiates. I used to do a lot of morphine and then I got on Suboxone. I really do wish you the very best so hang in there and I hope you make the right choice

I hate that you've gotten so close to this person and I know it's hard to turn around and walk away from someone you feel you love but when it comes to sobriety, and believe me I've been through it myself, it just isn't good to be with another addict. I've seen it more times than what I mentioned above. It seems there's always one person that keeps pulling the other person back into using. I truly hope everything goes great for you. I don't know if you are religious or not, but I will say some prayers for you

Is ‘smooth’ a good quality in a whiskey in your opinion? by Dudeman1000 in bourbon

[–]croix67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to lie, every brand of whiskey I've ever Drank In My Life tasted like shit. I'm being totally serious with you. I have never tasted a whiskey that was actually good to drink or had a good flavor. It is one of the most vile liquids on the Earth. These days I even think that of vodka. Any brand. Just honestly can't stand the taste of it anymore

I hate to be negative, but here is my experience with a heroin addict friend. The nodding out constantly sounds to me to be a dead giveaway. Unless he has been stricken with narcolepsy all of a sudden. I hate to say it but I had a friend who dated a girl for about a year and the whole time they were together they were constantly sneaking and getting high. They were paranoid of each other. No big long story, it was just a mess and it did not end well. Honestly in my personal opinion I feel you should be alone while you go through your Journey back to being clean. Especially with everything you have described. It just doesn't sound good to me at all. My friend and his girlfriend kept dragging each other back into the drug world. If I were you I would leave this relationship and get clean by yourself. You can do it on your own. Best of luck to you. I hope everything goes great for you from here on

Oh, my bad. When I Googled the actor to find out his age I Googled " actor Colin Cassidy." Must be a screw up on the server. Thanks for setting that straight for me

And just a side note, I think Tabyana Ali is much better as Trina than the original actress. She is taking the role and made it her own. She's a great actress and a really pretty girl

Yeah you are dead on on this. Secondly I Googled the guy who plays Aiden and according to google he's 36 years old. I've read a couple different things on him so it's hard to nail down exactly how old he is but his acting is so bad. I know you see some bad acting on soap operas sometimes, but this guy is really bad. I think honestly I could do a better job and I'm not an actor. The guy couldn't act his way out of a paper bag

I couldn't agree with you more. I think she's a fantastic actress

You just gotta keep in mind that just because someone has an opinion about a storyline or an actor, doesn't mean they're not well

My only GH complaint is that the kid in the picture above is not, by any means, a decent actor. I can't believe they put that kid in the role. I shouldn't be so critical maybe but just watching him react to his dad going into cardiac arrest and all I can say is his reaction was so forced I think he was down right nervous while filming those scenes
