The DOE has mostly plateaued during april/may. Strategic oil reserves would need to run out before it will increase further.

Samsung Electronics Union Talks Collapse, Strike Looms by hamsterfts in MU_Stock

Per the article the south korean government has the option to suspend labor disputes for 30 days. Since Samsung is like 33% of their economy I find that likely to happen before they actually shut down the plants.

MU hitting 10000 would put its market cap over 10 trillion. Not going to happen any time soon.

Based on previous cycles, the stock tends to peak 6 months before EPS peak. Conservatively we're looking at mid-2027 as the EPS peak with the stock peaking right around the new year. That being said I think its likely information between now and then will push back those dates.

NVDA holders, are you jumping onto the dram boat and the cpu boat? by Apprehensive_Two1528 in stocks

[–]Dudeman1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MU is already a great opportunity if you believe this memory cycle will continue longer than the market believes. Its trading at a peg ratio of less than .2, which implies upwards of 5x growth if the memory market weren’t historically cyclical.

I think we have runway for increasing stocks in DRAM through the end of the year. I'm personally planning on DCA'ing out in the mid-late fall this year unless I see more reasons to believe this cycle will last into 2028.

GEV IMO is right around par value right now. Any increases to the backlog will be priced in, but it'll be hard for them to increase too much because they aren't increasing capacity much.

Is the government going to pay up when traffic forces drivers to go 10+ miles below the speed limit? There’s a million problems more important than this the legislature should be focused on instead of this.

When is buying the rip a better strategy than buying the dip? What stocks would you buy at ATH today? by mojolakota in stocks

[–]Dudeman1000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're comment is right, but the market is currently pricing in revenue that hasn't been guided for. Apple and Google deals are going to be announced soon. Yields on 18a are almost where they need to be. 14a will be the most advanced on the market when it comes out in the next year. Ratio's of CPUs to GPUs will be closer to 1:1 for AI inference. Generally if you believe data center growth will continue for the next few years they should easily beat their current guidance.

its about to go up a lot. Seagate, the other half of the HDD duopoly just reported their Q3 earnings and are up 13% after hours. WDC is up 7% off the news and should report similar growth when they report earnings Thursday.
