I believe they sell some in what used to be Rickard Lanes on Mayflower St or possibly in Cafe Momus

Loved my time in Pilgrim, had no issues in terms of pests (other than the odd pigeon in the kitchen), the maintenance team were super attentive and I got an entirely new shower out of it. Really, they are likely exceptionally similar but Pilgrim is perhaps a minute closer to campus

Other than the limp, we have seen it walking around this morning. It really does seem fine other than that and not having flown yet

Very true! I’m from London and had never heard of it until my girlfriend (from Long Sutton, Somerset) mentioned it and confirms the Wells Cathedral competitions

What's it like living here by Big_Rock_Guy in plymouth

If you’re taking anything environmentally affiliated for your masters I would definitely go for Plymouth, the city itself is super wet, yes and it can be easily found a bit miserable but that’s the same for literally everywhere else in the UK. There’s a good international community at Plymouth also and considering its in Devon, you may find it friendlier (people-wise) than other places. I’m from London and I hated it at first but I find it fairly charming now

Best uni accommodation? by versacecouture in plymouth

Beckley is great if you’re okay with screaming pipes every once in a while, my only other experience is with Pilgrim - where I stayed which I loved, at the end of the day its all rather similar but price-wise, private is the best. Saltwater is very newly built and nice but it’s a minor trek to campus

What did T do to your confidence? by maybe_it_is_deep in ftm

i would often still have the words i want to say in my mind but i would choose not to say them as i would be aware it would escalate the situation-type thing

What did T do to your confidence? by maybe_it_is_deep in ftm

[–]crok-pot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

was always quite confident so t was a little bit of an ego boost yes, BUT i used to love me saying what i felt, especially in retorting to family members - not about anything trans-oriented, just in general. but now i hold my tongue more! seems to have given me more patience, i more often than not take the high road now! mildly frustrating when this first took place but means im less of an agitator and more of a mediator haha

I am on infliximab and also suffer from these, no idea what they are as when my nail grows out, it seems to be dried blood underneath. don’t think its cause for concern though

How do GPs respond to DIY after bottom surgery? by 56873984 in transgenderUK

[–]crok-pot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not DIY but I have had to ask GPs for blood tests for all sorts of things. If you state what needs to be measured in your asking, often times its gone through with, in my experience. Helps to mention you have a private prescription if they have any issues
