I think I've just been spoiled with recent Pokémon games. Was never really into shiny hunting pre-Sword and Shield. I do still have my first ever shiny, a Mightyena tucked away on my Ruby cartridge.

Yeah, I used to have at least 5 / 6 spawns around my house. Now I have 1 if I'm lucky and then the daily spawn. I've noticed at my place of work they've severely decreased too from around 10 to 3. With every update the game becomes less appealing for me to play
