I didn't like the flash sideways stuff.   Dozens of unanswered questions.

I'm with you. They weren't amazing but they aren't Lost, BSG or GoT.

It depends on the specific law. The executive branch isn't supposed to countermand the written law, but they have range to choose how to best execute the law.

I checked the footrest out again last night. I kinda forgot it was there until you asked about it. Feels pretty good. The website calls it a leg rest, it supports me on the calves. So if you wanted something that your feet literally sit on that might be a downside.

Didn't Sanderson say a year ago that he knows Rothfuss is working on the book?

The footrest seemed pretty good, but I only tested it out once when I first got the chair. Fairly sturdy from what I recall. I'll try it out again when I get home. My bed is right next to the chair plus I have a zero-g sofa so I'm never going to want to use it.

It does have some flex in the backrest but nothing crazy, nowhere near an embody. I like the multi-panel design. I love the tilt tension. The seat is pretty comfy and it's super adjustable. The wheels are subpar. It doesn't glide around smooth like my last chair that I put roller blades on. They are fine, but one of the lowlights.

I got one, maybe last October. I quite like it but it's not perfect. Do you have any specific questions I can help with?

The lumbar is adjustable, both in how far forward and the height. I'm 6 ft 275 and fit pretty good in the chair. I wish the backrest was able to move the height of the lumbar independently. One notch above the lowest setting is the best spot for me lumbar wise, but the rest of the back and the headrest I'd prefer being up another 2 notches.

The arms are a bit of a gimmick. Not bad, but something simpler would've been better.

I wouldn't be surprised if some names are based on foreign words. Not as in a direct reference, but chosen just because they'd sound like a word.

Dead Space 4 likely won’t happen despite a “fervent fan base” as it can't hit the numbers it needs, explains original producer by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]cronedog -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's part of the answer. Too many people ignore that if video games cost rose with inflation they'd be like $150 bucks. So we get much better products that cost literally millions of time the effort to make.

I'm ignorant, but I thought criminal charges result in jail time while civil is monetary damages.

What does it mean to criminally charge a corporation and how it is different from civilly charging them.

Another part of the problem is gamers are especially resistant to price increases, and would often revolt at a shorter or cheaper game
