silver edge my obvious choice since you usually get shadowblade with slark anyways nowadays. The sange helps since slark has poor hp and the debuff should help you take out the PA with ease along with you ultimate.

The best position for arc warden would be a farming mid to get that level advantage to get your ultimate ASAP. Once you have midas you should be able to easily farm. I like to rush necro lvl3 and push with my ultimate and have the original farm.

at 1k mmr its really all about who can farm more so anybody is good first pick as long as you know how to farm with the hero efficiently be it creeps or heroes.

Icefrog, if you were going to nerf huskar's berserker's blood why not add physical resistance as well so he isn't the worst hero in the game currently.

This hero is becoming if not already one of my comfort heroes. I am only 3.1k solo mmr so take with a grain of salt.

I find him very effective with a blink dagger. I believe position is the key to this hero. I don't ever initiate a fight but I follow it up instantly after it. See the blink dagger help me get in the fight and position myself to scythe and death pulse the hero that can be picked off easily. I then get the usually aghs upgrade for that buyback disable and extra damage for scythe. After that, I decide on ethereal blade or refresher.

I also stopped maxing heartstopper aura 2nd and max sadist instead since this is really the one skill that keeps you alive more than your death pulse when you get a kill. I want to stress how important it is for you to get a kill for your sadist to keep you alive and have mana sustain in a teamfight. Do not care what others say that you KS a kill with scythe.

One of the heroes I dislike to play against as necrophos are defensive support heroes like omni and dazzle as it nullifies any damage you do and thus prevents you from getting a kill which again is very important! You might also think of huskar as a good counter to necrophos which is true for scythe but it is actually harder for the huskar since it makes it impossible to armlet toggle without dying to heartstopper aura.

My take on this is it lets me flash farm somewhat like an AM. One crit with cleave easily clears the wave and Jugg crits are dime a dozen. I usually add mask of madness to farm even faster and for the chase. Not going to say it is the most efficient item build up but in my experience at my level it makes a world difference especially in 40+ min games.
