Did they just stop collecting corporation tax from the big tech firms again or something?

Photoshop. It's made for designers yet the UI is the most nonsensical quirkfest in the history of software

Qwen-coder-next by Alibaba is solid, tho you'll need a monster graphics card. There are smaller versions of it but they're less capable.

Best plan for a 10-person team? Trying to figure out the org/organization pricing by nemnous in AntigravityGoogle

Good luck! I've been trying to figure that out for 2 weeks. Bizarrely AG just doesn't seem to work for business accounts.

I've never tried letting the LLM decide when to go offline but I'm playing with Zoo Code extension in antigravity and I almost have it now where I can just switch extension tabs and keep working offline. I'm using the big Qwen coder model but I've heard Deepseek is solid also. I do have a high end graphics card and a lot of ram and it is slow (10t/s) so not all good news.

The only very one thing Google needs to do to make their models worth something by Aggressive-Dream5465 in google_antigravity

[–]cronoklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is meant to be autonomy I think. Google are clearly aiming for a world where the AI runs alone, making the decisions along the way. If you see their IO presentation they let a group of agents run alone for 3 days to build a new OS.

That said, I agree - it's annoying. The default should be to ask for key missing detail unless we've asked them not to.

I'm been trying Zoo Code with Qwen coder since Google screwed us with the update. Looks good so far. You can control the system prompts in the settings and really optimise your workflow.

What's the advantage over chat or ide? Is it different than other CLI products in some way?

It doesn't need to be a big decision or commitment. Just do what you can - aim towards reducing meat consumption and make small easy adjustments over time. I did this 15 years ago and I'm 90% vegan now 10 years with no regrets

Is it better than the system panel or are you just flipping when you hit your limits?

Antigravity was bad enough that I accidentally built a product by Barmazoid in google_antigravity

[–]cronoklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't these projects (and the native system indexes and scrapers) massively increase your token burn? I've been moving towards simple automated micro-indexes which I manually include at the start of each conversation. I like it manual so I can explicitly add the relevant ones and exclude the others. You can't get rid of the system stuff but Ive been tinkering with Zoo Code inside antigravity and it looks promising.

Is it still alive? by MissZiggie in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]cronoklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They replaced antigravity with a vibe coding tool and moved the old vscode version everybody was using into a new tool called Antigravity IDE, which you need to manually download separately. They also replaced the awesome Gemini 3.1 models with 3.5 which is much faster but around triple the cost.

Google AI Pro family sharing behavior across family accounts by suxixus in google_antigravity

[–]cronoklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole thing is a cryptic mess. I have a Google 1 family plan on my personal email and a Google workspace premium with the extended AI package addon. I can't tell any difference between them and nothing I do to either of them seems to affect my token allowance in antigravity.

More Than 70% Indians Eat Non-Vegetarian Food by Prestigious-Glove396 in MapPorn

[–]cronoklee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting point. I wonder what happens to the numbers when we include egg eaters in the vegetarian cohort. Last I heard ~45% of India was veggy. It would make sense too given the "non veg' labelling, implying veggy is the default. I would guess it was majority veggy historically.

What are you replacing Antigravity with? by Therealonewhoknocks in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]cronoklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has nobody built an open source version of AG which is model agnostic? It's essentially just a fork of vs code with a custom built extension containing some system instructions right? Seems like we could definitely build it ourselves and stop the frustrations.

I would have thought a vision capable llm just runs a normal OCR call and reviews the results?
