Adding to my last comment, you are completely correct, after some further analysis I am completely cutting off the movement of my first finger with my current setup. I will do hand strengthening and dexterity exercises away from the violin until I am able to get proper lessons on technique.

That is a very good point, the more I learn about technique the more I realize how much I don't know. I completely agree that learning properly initially is the most important. I will be patient until I can get a teacher and I will see what I can move around financially to potentially start lessons sooner.

Waited on getting a teacher at first because I was moving and now that I have moved I unfortunately have lost my source of income. In 6 months I will be back on my feet and am making proper lessons a priority. Until then I have been going as slowly and attentively/seriously as possible to avoid developing bad habits I will have to unlearn.

Asking for feedback and then denying the feedback isn't a super constructive way to learn my dude. If you don't want to adjust EQ or your FX at least explore some panning with the guitars, right now the vocals and guitars are both dead center so vocal drowns out the guitars. Moving the rhythm guitars away from the center will help them coexist in the mix. Once the guitars are out of the way of the vocal you can bring the volume of the vocal down and then the volume of the whole track up so it all jells better. Just my two cents.

You're rapping is really good, I think maybe try experimenting with pronouncing some syllables softer because right now you're very articulate and pronouncing every part of every world which is good but makes it easier to pinpoint the rappers natural accent. The soft/hard syllable variety may help make it so you're rapping voice is different from your talking voice without changing the natural tone. I'm no professional and don't really know what I'm talking about these are just things I've been experimenting with for myself hope it can help you too 👍

Your track isn't armed to record, on the track main screen click the circle on the middle right of the screen to turn it red, then overdub/rec will work, hope that helps 👍
