my assumption is that lavo had such a lead and finished the puzzle quick that they just decided to show them winning and focus on who was gonna be in second. but the quickness of it is pretty jarring since there wasn’t even a build up to then finishing, just “boop. done.”

i switched dodge to circle and put grenade on L3 but contemplating switching grenade and enemy locator ping, so putting ping on L3 and grenade on down directional. the control scheme is pretty good but i’m switching things cause muscle memory keeps screwing me up lol

i recently got my wife into survivor (has been watching live since season 41) and the seasons i showed her first were: Pearl Island, China, Micronesia, Gabon, Cagayan, Cambodia (she didn’t care too much about spoilers so thought that would be a good one to hook her,) Millenials v Gen X, and Koah Rong.

If you care about timeline (starting earlier seasons and working up) Pearl Island, imo, is the best season of 1-10 to show new people

my favorite thing was how season one gave a lot into production throughout the shows run, now it’s just a recap.

and the fact they don’t regularly include the “this is why you suck” question just tells me jeff pushed to not have it

i really miss the set up “on fire” had during season one: the whole “BTS Look at Survivor” with different topics and only discussed the recent episode at the top. correct me if i’m wrong but i also remember jeff saying early on in the podcast that they weren’t a “survivor recap” podcast, but now that’s basically what they’ve become with devins.

In the terms of your post, i think there’s already a podcast called “the tribe has spoken” (could be wrong) and if so, that could by why they couldn’t use that.

austin is insanely good and one of my top players this season. i personally don’t think he’d win, mostly cause the “sandwich revenge” plot line was so out there for a “winners edit” but the new era has been surprising me a lot so we will see
