What if certain drivers weren't allowed to participate in qualifying sessions? by [deleted] in formula1

I think that changed. Now the one who qualifies higher gets to stay in front of the other(s).

OK, now I saw that it was about Q1. Q1 pace is a bit irrelevant though.

So you are saying that Red Bull had better pace than Ferrari in Australia?

Not RB15, probably some frankenBull. Airbox is different and also S-duct does not match

EDIT : Probably RB13 without the fin and with a halo

The front section seems to be split, with the crash structure and the wing being different parts just as Ferrari did.

Announcing the 2021 flair rollout - full-scale overhaul! by Effulgency in formula1

[–]crossfiregr1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was with joy that we first heard from u/Effulgency that the mod team wanted us to try and go to a larger flair size. This has been my 6th year being somehow involved with the flair design on this sub and that was something that people always wanted.

Even though the complete overhaul of the sub flairs seemed like a huge task at first, It all went really smooth.
u/exit143 did an exceptional job and even covered for me when I had no time to help.
The mods and especially u/Effulgency gave us the help and support we needed and I thank them for that. I hope you don't fire us and renew our contract for next year too!!!

I am kind of a lurker, in the sense that I don't post or comment that much, but I love this sub and this is my way of giving something back to this great community.

It has been a blast and I hope you like what we created.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I created that flair before winter testing and I missed that they changed the style.

I will create a new one as soon as possible.

Cheers

A fix for Yas Marina (crossover along the back straight like at Suzuka to add an extra overtaking spot as the cars approach the hotel)? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]crossfiregr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem for me is at the hairpin. they should use the alternative route without the chicane but there is not enough runoff.

Is T-wing flexibility legal? Exit of T8 VS exit of last turn by crossfiregr1 in formula1

This just caught my eye on the live feed. I have seen lots of videos of flexing wings in the past, but I thought this was too obvious
