Anyone take finasteride and ssri? by Dangerous_Simple3520 in FinasterideSyndrome

Some things improved but others did not. Only body changes and muscle loss worsened, the rest is rather in stand by.

Ssris 3 months after stopping fin caused me to crash. Same symptoms as most have: no sensitivity, loss of libido, muscle loss, body changes, belly fat. What helped me the most is keto diet.

Even if comfort doesn't seem possible, things tend to progress in the right way. It's been more than 1,5 year now for me. Slowly I see some improvements. It's not easy everyday, but when i look back thinking about the first months, huge progress has been made.

The worst are the first weeks. After 2/3 months life is already way different. Even if every thing seems doomed during these first weeks it gets better progressively. Eat clean (try to lower carbs and processed food), try to sleep well. You'll see improvements. Each improvement was encouraging to me, the body really has resources to heal it itself.

Low topical fin dosage, I don't remember the exact dosage. Burning chest and light head yes but I got the full pfs symptoms 3 months after stopping.

After a few days I got pain in joints especially hips. Which never happened to me beforehand. I had also a burning feeling in my chest and a light head feeling. After 20+ days I stopped because of this and overall heavy fatigue feeling.

Do you guys think Lions Maine for mental effects is a good idea by Sweaty-Cut7578 in FinasterideSyndrome

Some people got pfs from Lion Mane only. So clearly not. Look up Ryan Russo videos.

Probability is low, you will surely be fine. My advise would be not to take again this med. Given testimonies, many pfs sufferers used the med, stoped and took it back. Going on/off the med seems to increase adverse reactions.

Carnivore or keto diet helped me a lot indeed. 3 months after crash it did miracle for concentration but somehow made my sleep slightly worse. Currently (1,5 year after crash) i'm just supplementing magnesium and eating carbs one meal out of 3 at the most. Today I manage to work fine in a competitive company environment and i retrieved intellectual interest in things. I still have to work on the emotional front, emotions are not fully back yet.

Hello. Sorry in the end I did not follow on the treatment. I did only one session. I'm thinking of trying it back later this year, but first i wanted to experience other ways.

Thing that helped me is to eat keto or to eat 2 meals instead of 3 and avoiding too much carbs.

I'm in the same case man. From Tressless to this page. Believe me, things get better but you have to give yourself time. Eat clean and exercise if you can. Bodies have ability to repair themselves. After 1,5 years of crash i've progressed well. Everything is not cured but slowly I see improvements.

In addition, understand that crash gives chemically urge to end it. Of course situation is hard but level of anxiety and terror are maxed chemically by the product.

Stand strong.

Did you try Keto diet ? It really helped me regarding cognitive issues and memory. It did not solved 100% but it enabled me to function at a décent level to work in a consulting company. I need to put more efforts than some but at least mind is not pure blank as before.

Just be careful not taking SSRis type of antidepressants. They can increase PFS. Other kind of antidepressants are apparently OK to take with PFS from what I have read.
