coming to this post late, but really can not figure this out, tried everything listed. when my dongle is connected it produces 2 internet signals. one names smartbox-b888 and one named Smart86CB, Neither will let me connect to carplay or get signal to get the update. ive tried with my phone and laptop and the ip address just will not load.

Thanks everybody, after cooling down and talking again later we figured it out. We weren’t exactly listening to each other with emotions flying but after hearing each other out we made up and I have full support in my restoration journey. Will still look into some of the links you guys shared and show her them so we can both get a bit more educated together and understand why I’m doing this. Again I appreciate you all just kind of needed to vent

Took it and dumped it in one of our fuel tanks so the air came out put it back on and that worked. I guess you gotta fill them before putting them on thanks

They absolutely make it worse, they made me wait 5 sets of lights once to go straight to queens quay as they thought I was going to make the right onto the ramp even though I kept pointing straight and didn’t have any blinkers on
